Pupil dilation is very cute! I noticed a man’s pupils get huge a few times during our one on one conversations and was intrigued by what I’d noticed in him enough to look it up…and turns out that’s a sign of attraction! This was also after me noticing he was trying to indirectly protect me and he would watch me a lot. Great advice and perfect timing! I’ve just started seeing someone new and he definitely seems keen but on the two dates we’ve had he’s definitely been oversharing and rambling! I’ve found it quite off putting because he doesn’t seem to want to ask me questions, but equally I think he’s sooo nervous!

Yes, I have had guys do that to me. Six months in to a friendship when his walls were coming down I found out he had really blown things up in the beginning. It's been hard to move through this now, because I wonder what else am I gonna find out that isn't true about him?!? I was truthful from the beginning.

My babe is a proper gentleman. I have always known him from our church. We have been talking for over 3 months. My favorite sign is actually a combination of nr. 7 & 3. It's basically that you show up somewhere where you know he's going to be at (usually unconsciously) and when he sees you he makes a small, dumb mistake in what he was doing. If he's talking to someone he'll forget what he was saying or mess up his word even stutter. I think it's really cute and it's so obvious no one can deny it 😂

I had guy text me the new. I’ve had to go stay at my moms actually asked if he could come along. He normally only says he’s just friends. The person i like likes me too but the problem is he doesn't want to show. Sometimes he give subtle hints. Sometimes he is absolutely silent making me self doubt. He follows my social media. Rarely has this happened to me cause I am introverted and reserved and prefer to stay home and watch all the awesome TV shows on now or just do something with my sister or even by myself. But when I was a freshman in high school a guy would hang around my locker and just be around, smiling. I thought he was nice but didn't think of him like that. Unfortunately I was immature. I was cold and I ignored him. I thought if I was nice, it would give him the wrong idea. I now regret all these later how I acted. I should have been more friendly, maybe even given him a chance and also maybe didn't even like me. I could have been imagining things. I was not popular and pretty. Quiet, frumpy and overweight. A few years ago I was at Urgent care and a Doctor and a male nurse walked into my room. I thought to myself about the nurse " he is kind of cute, but a little short for my taste" The nurse asked all the typical health questions. But there was one question I thought was strange. It was " Do you live with a spouse or a significant other?" I was going to ask; why do you have to know this for what felt like severe strep throat? But I just said I live with my brother and sister. His body gave a noticeable shudder and then he gave me the biggest whole face smile I ever saw! I thought it was strange, why is he smiling? I feel like crap. He gave me a glass of water and a pill to calm the throat and left the room. And then hit me, maybe this guy is attracted to me. Which made me feel good but also surprising because I am not pretty or in good physical shape. He then came back in to tell me I didn't have strep and got closer to me than most people I know and casually grazed my arm and told me the usual stuff about resting and staying hydrated. But could tell he was trying to make the encounter last a little longer. Usually someone being that close to me would make me uncomfortable, but it did not with him. I almost said something like I hope your night is not too long to show him that I was also attracted to him. But then chickened out and just said thank you. Of course I never saw this guy again, because I am not a crazy person that hangs around the hospital urgent care. But I wish perhaps I would have showed him I was interested and maybe we would have stayed in contact. But of course I know asking for my phone number is not appropriate at a work environment like Urgent Care. But I kinda wish he had. I could never! Way too shy! Most likely nothing would have come of it. And making more of it in my head. Also one other time a guy smiled at me with his whole face while he was running, I was walking. A little ways down the wooded path, he stopped to look at his phone, like he was waiting for me. He didn't give a creepy vibe, but because in a wooded area, decided to be safe and turn around. And those are the only times I think guys have been attracted or interested in me. But of course maybe I am just seeing what I want to make myself feel good. Gosh so sorry this was so long and rambling!

How does this work when you've "sort of" been with someone for 5 years?

Oh yeah, needs to be positioned to be looking at me. I've seen him move to a different chair just to see me better, but we were too far apart to converse. Then he started to text me when I was talking with someone, I answered back, he texted, etc. Later that evening, we talked about it and laughed. We then talked for hours after that, serious and funny stuff. Will this ever evolve into more than what it is now? I don't know, but I'm not going to jeopardize this by rushing and trying to force any issues.

I saw a guy who had all those signs, was very charismatic towards me, we started out being intimate but lately that changed to totally platonic relationship that last 5 years to be exact. He seems like he's avoidant in relationships. That's a person who doesn't wanna comit to serious relationship, because they're afraid of intimacy/vulnerability. Or when they comit, they build big wall between them and the partner. It's a deep deep wound that comes from childhood, doesn't get fixed just by a good word. On the other hand people like that usually get attracted to people who has anxious type of attachment, and these people usually have very weak or no boundaries for what they allow in their life and relationships. I belive for you would be better to stop analyzing him, and start asking yourself questions like: Why do you belive you deserve to lower yourself? What part of you needs to be validated? Maybe you're scared of being alone? Maybe you are feeling unworthy of a good partner? Maybe you secretly believe you deserve this? Or you belive you can change him and then you'll be happy? These are tough questions but when you answer honestly, you might find that there's lots of stuff about you that have attracted partner like this and to find someone you truly deserve you will need to start taking care of it, just like he should take care of his stuff. It's everyone' responsibility to take care of their own wounds. I wish you good luck

Could you please help? I'm 63 on disability and newly dating a man on social security, we enjoy being together but it's hard to go on quality dates due to limited funds. A walk or having dinner we cook and a movie on TV is how we spend many of our dates. My question is we need advice how to move thru dating stages while on fixed low income and the pros and cons and pitfalls we might fall into. Picnic in a park, free outdoor concerts, put on music and slow dance, early bird specials for dinner, strip poker, walk in the park, nature walk/hike, farmers market visits, go to an auction (dont have to buy anything) matinee movies, plan a day trip somewhere and bring Picnic lunch, go to the library and rent movies, play chess or checkers there, have friends over for game night
