How to consciously choose who you become

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Often it’s hard to create the life we want because we find it hard to take the needed action. It’s hard to take action because we try to create a life of a person that we are not yet. So if we wanna create a different life we need to become a different person.
If we wanna be a different person we need to understand how we were created. What did we learn that made us judge certain things as good and others as bad? How were our preferences created?
Most of us did not really choose who they are because we were influenced by our parents, teachers, the media, and our family and friends. We all are also influenced by the culture in our country.
Most of us were taught that the most important thing is to survive, we gotta be successful to survive and so on. Most of us were not taught to be ourselves and encouraged to find our soul’s purpose. It’s at least not what I was taught growing up.
The events that created the strongest beliefs and shaped who we are now are the ones that are connected to a strong emotion, to an event where our emotions were elevated. These are the ones that get imprinted in our minds.
So know, if we wanna change certain ways of being in order to get the life we want, we need to go back and see what events created the agreements we made. This process allows us to see clearly why we are a certain way and is allowing us to consciously choose what we believe now so our actions can match our beliefs.

My life changed five years ago when I watched movie Big Lebowski. I imagine Jesus being like the Dude. The Dude takes it easy and doesn't get uptight The Dude is not panicking because Dude abides. So I am not bothered outcomes in this life. I just take what may come. Now I feel my life get even better when I found this Flow training and all the mind and body teachings in this channel. I love it man

it is important to analyze our thoughts and motivations, to understand whether our feelings are accurate. Being aware of a problem is the first step to finding the solution. But after that realization the focus needs to be on the solution, otherwise you will get trapped in a cycle of seeing faults and thinking of the past. This cycle will lead to either frustration because you will always see faults, or lead to self-justification where you let your feelings guide your actions. But if you focus on the solution, the image of who you should be. By putting your mind and heart to this focus, you will become the solution. Jesus is the way,y the truth and the life Jesus is the perfect image, he is the solution.

When an artist sculpts a block of marble into a statue, they remove everything that does'nt align with their image of what the statue will look like in their mind. If an artist only analyzed the block of marble to see where something came along and scratched the side, or where it chipped off from an event in its life. You might be able to buff out the flaw but it will still remain to an extent.
