Wow the Honda diesels are so much easier to work on than other cars. Just bought the I-cdti version and it looks similar. Tx

I love hondas, dont get me wrong. . But fml, the A22 engine is a big engine for the Civic bay and as such most of the in situ stuff is a royal PITA.

I tried to do the manifold swap couldnt get bolts off cat so put back to gether as didnt really get far and now i have lost power its like in limp mode no codes or eml do you think egr could be blocked or something

Should I clean the EGR valve even if I dont have any fault codes?

Same model car Honda Civic 2.2 I clean egr, throttle, and eml appear saying intake manifold runner switch has short circuit. Secondly my car speed in speedometer is significantly higher than real speed. Like 30 to 35 percentage higher than Tom Tom shows . What might be the cause , can any one help. Pls.

Is it possible to dismantle a mk8 civic 2.2 icdti EGR ?, Top of EGR looks sealed however you can see some Allen screws between vaccume valve and main body but difficult to get an Allen key in it, there must be away. Anyone done this before, please help
