In the beginning murder scene with Pam, the killer gave her some time to run outside her house. That might not have been the best idea on a regular night, but this was Halloween and there was bound to be some trick or treaters there or at least eye witnesses which could have saved her life

Meh, Pam did the right thing by alerting the cops by hitting that button before going for the gun. It created a deadline for the killer and if her gun had failed the cops at least would have come for her. If she had gone for the gun and would not have landed a shot or was unable to employ it she would be fighting there without anyone coming for her. Also she did not let her guard down but remained focussed in the direction the killer had left at. She also stabbed at his heart but hit his shoulder and lost full mount in the struggle. She did everything right but the killer was just to skilled and able to smash through doors and windows.

I loved this movie so much. As somebody that grew up in the 80's, there were so many little silly tropes I enjoyed & really feel appeal to us middle-agers that may relate a bit more. The small details might go unnoticed by someone younger. Tbc, doesn't mean all ages wouldn't enjoy it. I recommended this to my older sis & mom. They both loved it too. Her biggest mistake was actually telling the two cops that she comes from the future and she actually got super lucky that they did not believe her. Because if they actually did they would clearly tell their supervisors about that and would not take long before it got leaked to media. That would be a major sensation an basically all large News Network would cover her story. By letting the world knowing time travel will exist in the future she would have already changed the future for the whole world

Hey How to Beat I love the focus you put on changing the past changes the future. If each action has a rippling effect that could change the world, how much of it should you risk changing? Would you allow the world to take its natural course even if I meant 3 girls were murdered?

My brain was so distracted by how much Jamie's actress keeps (visually) reminding me of (younger) Melissa Joan Hart. Funny enough, it turns out that Kiernan Shipka played the Sabrina in the Netflix version of the show, so it turns out that both women have played the same character in their own respective shows!
