When I first started watching NBA in the early 2000''s, when players hit that 33-34 age mark it was expected that their production would dip, guys like KD, Steph and especially Bron have really changed that perception.

The stars play longer in all sports nowadays it is probably because they care more about their diet/training etc so they can play into their late 30s instead of falling of in their early 30s .

So he should just go back to the role he played pre injuries. Idk why but since he came back his shot selection has been awful and he handles the ball a lot more often

Shit comparison. For all his flaws, Lillard can create his own shot. Klay was a hell of a 3-and-D guy but he can't really play D anymore. When you ain't playmaking any drop in efficency is gonna hurt that much more, which is why he's getting benched.

I just always find it funny that NBA fans love to put the blame of why a team is declining on one person, cus it’s easy. Like how doc just got here yet everyone wants to blame him for everything, when in reality the team has lost major depth and some of their players aren’t as efficient or effective as they once were. How bout we talk about trading jrue holiday was a mistake. He was their primary perimeter defender and they gave a lot up when they let him walk. It’s not always a big name that’s gonna save your team. The bucks have like no young talent, it’s a lot going on. Doc came into a less than ideal situation and he has guts for even taking the position cus he knows how hateful NBA fans can be. The reality of it is, The bucks stayed the same when other teams got better. The Celtics got better, the knicks got better, the raptors got better, the pacers got better, MIA, etc. and that’s just in his own conference. A lot has changed since that 2021 chip. The bucks just haven’t made the right adjustments. It’s not one person’s fault, just like the lakers, warriors, and the suns. It’s many different factors combined holding the team back. Can’t afford to regress when it’s too many young teams out here getting better each season like the timmies and OKC.

i think the problem with dame is that he was grossly overrated to begin with. He was the best player on a trash team that miraculously made it to the western finals one year, where they didnt have a chance whatsoever. He has never shot over 45% from the field or 40% from three, hes a volume scorer which has been proved to be nearly valueless in the nba. he is historically one of the worst defenders in the nba YoY, and just isnt much value to a team trying to win other than being a third option or potentially and off the bench spark. Its just the reality of his situation, hes probably the most overrated player of this generation.

Dame has and will continue to be the most overrated player in the league
