Klay Thompson was benched for the first time in his career ending a streak that began as a rookie in 2012. The Splash Brothers Era is officially over in Golden State but that’s the last of the Warriors’ problems.

The loss to the Clippers was tough since they blew a lead again, but they BARELY squeaked by Utah (who they had been dominating). Klay going moving to a bench player actually might be helpful since he'll be playing when they need offense without Curry and Kuminga on the floor. I don't know if he can be effective consistently, but maybe if he stops trying to shoot on the move and takes higher percentage shots he'll get it together. You don't forget how to shoot because of age (or even injury). He might just have to limit his shots to good ones instead of the circus stuff.

I been saying it since they won the chip. Imagine if in the offseason after they won they dealt klay. They would have been able to turn around and be competitive with curry way quicker. Whether they went with future picks to deal or young talent I have to believe they would have been better off.

Klay seems to shoot well when he isn't fading. Even Zach Lowe talked about it on his most recent podcast. Don't know what it's like to pay attention to the shot clock during game. But - if manageable - maybe Klay should only be taking fadeaways & off balance shots when the shot clock is under 4-5 seconds.

Yes the playoffs are different. That's why Kerr needs to trust and give more playing time to his youngsters now to prepare them. That means JK, Pods, Moody, TJD, Quinones and Santos.

If Giannis is available in the offseason then you would have been able to showcase your young players as assets for a trade.

That’s because at the end of the day Klay is a winner. That humility comes with accomplishment. He has several accolades that are higher on the chart of accomplishment than Steph Curry. He will be back and it would be a mistake to count him out.

If klay ends up on Miami Lakers or clippers he might come off the bench this might prepare him just in case. But i doubt him leaving the warriors if he does I'd be shocked and if it's too my clippers I'd be ecstatic. But I'd hate to lose George and i never thought there'd be a day i say this I'd hate to lose harden so they might need to take a paycut or let one go.

If Klay can take on the super 6th man role it could be beneficial for both the Warriors and extending his NBA career.

Klay didn't think he made mistake because he didn't. He fouled Westbrook, most realistic outcome was to miss at least one. They could defend and get basket and be down 5-6 for like 18s left. Klay did very smart thing that didn't pay out.

Bucks never needed "Dame".... I been saying that since the trade, while everybody else was thinking Bucks go win it all. Bucks getting "Dame" was actually a set-back because they gave up a player that was not only bigger, not only a bucket getter but a DEFENSIVE player and "Dame" has never been known for defense. Like I said since day one, "Dame" would have been better served in Miami.

0:38 It’s funny because this KZreadr thought Steph was trying to give Klay “dap” because he definitely wasn’t you can tell by his fingers. But it’s even funnier because Klay also thought Steph was trying to “dap” him and when he realized Steph was giving orders instead of “dap” he rubbed his hands because he knew it was caught on camera. 😂 but then again I know you only say certain lies so people like me could point it out in the comments. Touché
