I was last year old when I first heard of all you are saying. Changed everything. Thank you for this. I started lifting weights, partly inspired by you, 8 1/2 months ago. Changed my eating habits. Learned more about nutrition. I don’t recognize my body-in the best possible way.

She has done an amazing job - and in a very sensible lifestyle change. I also lost weight based on calorie deficit and increasing protein. Additionally, I ensured any carbs were complex .... Fruit was whole .... Fats were natural like butter .... And no ready meals or takeaways. It took time but that gave my body and brain chance to develop new healthier habits.
Gosh I love you!!!! You just get straight to it, no bullsh!t. Absolutely appreciate it!!!

Yup, calorie deficit... muscle for fat! It's been amazing! I lost over 50 lbs in 4 months at age 48... yup picked it back up for training and dropping a few more now, but inches!! Dang! Loving it! Lean protein... healthy fat, veggies, fruits! Whole foods! Getting back to me! Love your posts!! You are Beautiful!! Be well!

After my daughter was born, I broke my ankle severely, separated tendon, spiral break 6, screws, 2 plates and a cable,. Casted for 8 weeks. And boot there after physical therapy, 80lbs got pregnant again + 18lbs... neglected myself for years. Joined Optavia plan and weight dropped off. Now clean eating and working out. 15-20 lbs to be my happy self!

love this! ive been trying to loose weight since summer 2020 and i constantly yoyo diet from fad diet to fad diet like WW and Noom. this video is so clear and consise summing up all the information i have learned over those two years (mostly in the last 3 months, due to falling off WW/Noom and gaining all my weight back and having a pitty party for about 6 months)

Thank you 💗 I would LOVE to hear any tips you have for increasing protein without resorting to animal products. I definitely find myself favouring wholegrains and veggies for my meals..... don't really know how to increase protein🤔🤔

💚💚💚 I am definitely not an expert but going throught the exercise of figuring this out rn for the cookbook. The short answer is lots of lentils and beans - edemame, pinto, kidney… this seems to be the way a lot of vegetarians do it. Also vegan protein powders

Is this woman is actually…. Gonna change my fuckin life in the better way ?? Like I kinda know all those stuff bc I read a lot about dieting but I never figure out how to understand it all in one together It’s like I had all the pieces before and now , you’re helping me to build the puzzle to finally understand how to lose fat in the best and easiest way
I've been doing intermittent fasting for about 4 months in total and have dropped 31lbs so far. IF makes me naturally cut calories because I got used to eating about two meals a day (I'm a volume eater so this works for me) and my calories are around 1400-1500/day, give or take. I still eat what I want (yes, pizza, hamburgers, fries, icecream, etc.) but only when I'm having a craving for them (around my pms time). I take things easy a week before my period because hormones naturally start shifting and the body craves certain food because of that. I switched to whole grain bread and wraps, still eat white pasta and rice, dramatically cut down my soda intake to almost nothing now, I almost never have any treats or sweets, I drink about 3L of water everyday, do water fasts occasionally, and I try to move around more throughout the day. Little things add up so if you don't know where to start, just start somewhere, anywhere!

I'm also doing IF! I've been doing 2/3 day fasts and I'll keep going until I reach goal weight. Then I'll stick to OMAD. The progress I'm seeing now makes me feel like the usual cutting calories/exercising I was doing was playing games 🤣.

I used to be athletic. I now have a job that requires sitting at a desk for ten hours per day. I do not work out,...except every other day when I do squats near my desk and push ups off the side of my desk. If I eat no more than 1,267 calories per day, I can lose close to a pound per day. I hope that answers someone's question.
Can’t eat 1500 in crap food - natural, unprocessed choices. Great video.

Ok- this is a weird statement because there’s a lot of data to suggest you do lose more muscle on keto and if than cutting calories and having high protein. Cutting calories without considering protein is never a good idea. Your comment is misguided
Ain't gonna count calories. Too much work. I just limit processed foods and focus on portion control.

It does but i understand your frustration. Your statement makes 0 sense. If the deficit doesnt work by definition you are not in a deficit. Is it harder? Most likely, especially because energy levels are lower making it harder to increase NEAT etc. Also muscle loss so bmr is lower. Lots of reasons it feels harder but you are factually incorrect.

Medical Biochemist here .... Specialized in Diabetes, and Eating Disorders. Calorie Deficit works at all ages. All the "faddy" diets (eliminate a particular food group and/or fasting) do not work in the way that they will tell you in the books and programs they sell you .... Lots of research shows that it is the calorie deficit which yet again caused the weight loss.
