How I Learned The L-Sit in 68 Days
Ойын-сауық
Over the past 68 days, I have been working to learn the L-Sit, a beginner level calisthenics hold that tests core strength and flexibility. Here's how I learned it!

Right, that’s what I want to know. I bet they don’t reply
More emotion and more humor. I love it! It’s fun watching you guys evolve your videos!
This is the best "How to L Sit" video that I ever watched. Please share your weekly routine for the L- Seat
Y'all are my heroes! I always look forward to watching your videos
Bro for real I remember you did that swim challenge and all I remember is MAD respect. I did not think you were going to make it even halfway. You are a G for life. Cool brother too!
This is your funniest video yet, thoroughly enjoyed watching this
This video deserves millions and millions of views. Well done!
This video was hilarious - I have always loved your videos for content, but you have tapped into a new level of entertainment
Great breakdown! Wondering if you do a video like this on planche progressions for us mere mortals? 😊
Love these videos!
loool love the more comedic [ass]pect of this video! Training can be hard but is great to get a joke out of you guys once in a while
Awesome video!
Another great video!
I wish your videos popped up more so I'll stick a comment here cause I'm a fan of your videos.
I replaced push ups with planks for part of the physical portion of my assignment and wanted to replace push ups for a while. The article I was reading said something like people cannot stand on due to lack of balance but week abdominal muscles.
pretty interesting to see how different ppl struggle differently he did great on the ring muscle up while am still struggling to do a single one in the other hand it only took me a month to be able to hold the L-sit for 30 seconds 3 months to hold it for a minute although i do agree the ring muscle up is a loooiit harder
Really proud of you, I'm glad you took my advice and got into the neck and traps training for this challenge. It made you look way better and completed your look - me to you, in two months. Hopefully.

Good job bro. Funny thing I have a somewhat similar problem I can do L sit pullups and isometric holds both hanging and on dip bars but for the life of me I struggle when doing them off the floor 😅
I am going to try those hamstring stretches. I have very tight hamstrings as well and all of the normal stuff just doesn't seem to get me to where I want to be. Thank you for showing me a new way that worked for you.
Great vid
I just learnt this few weeks ago! And I am glad that I learnt this earlier than you😜!
Love the humour at 4:00 minutes!
I like your video very much. Very inspirational and motivated one and very natural feel like a normal human can do this if we try hard
2:32 dont fight your hamstrings. squeeze your quads. better yet start off from the floor with your quads already in control
Wow man you did a great job! Maybe you can try the V-sit next:)
If you have trouble keeping your butt off the ground, you can hunch over while you do your L-sit, which will take extra core strength, but will keep you off the ground.
can you learn the handstand and go through that journey, i go through the same challenges of tight hamstrings and tight hip flexors
it took me a month to perform my first L sit. I believe i was only able to achieve it so quickly because i used to exercise myself a lot as a child/teenager. so i had enough strength and just had to work on body control
Great videos guys. #bootyislife
You're first time... You were great.
Where do you get the average body part length and proportions from?
How’s the jump journey doing?
Well done! It’s weird you are much fitter than me but for some reason I can the L sit for about 30 seconds, maybe it naturally suits some rather than others?
Nice
5:56 GUH GUH, GUH GUNH, GUHHHHHH. "For Whom The Bell Tolls!!!"
Video idea: Cam trying the fighter pull up program.
nice video af
2:51 loving this video so far hahah
I saw a tiktok with this i looked it up i found this video and i succesfully did a l sit for 5 seconds my first try it didnt seem that complicated i just looked for balance and lifted my body up🤷🏾♂️
🤣 when your brother took the call instead of timing you. Classic
i have a really strong core and legs but for some reason i cant do l sits, turns out i only need hamstring and hip flexor flexibility
Hey, Brendan serious question,Do you ever get jealous of Cam’s hair?
I see you trying new ways you motivate and push yourself, I have something you may be looking for. Go to the Soul Frequency channel on KZread, the videos are based on training performed by the Monroe Institute, scroll all the way down to the Hemi Sync wave 1 track 1 video and start from there.
I have never worked on this and immediately did it on my like sixth time trying, what does it say about me? I don't think it requires strength, feels more like flexibility.
Ok, I'm not kidding. I tried this only to learn that my arms are unusually short 😂 I cannot do this

Try and put your hands on books or an elevated surface
When I L-Sit, after about 0.5 seconds my thigh / quad muscle starts burning / cramping, does anyone know how to improve this? I don't even know if I'm weak or inflexible or both lol
3:24
3:31 The level of disappointment on his face is Oscar worthy.
the best gains are the ones you work hard for. fast weight lost or fast muscle gain = losing it fast.
I feel much pain in the front tight. Should I exercise my legs or what ?

Tight hamstrings? Yes u gotta do sum stretches for ur legs, get flexible first.. This can improve ur L sit
Booty is life tho 😂 #SquadGoals

You work at it everyday?
Cams next video: “I tried my brothers L-sit routine for 24 hours! 😱”
Training weighted dips helps immensely, I also have short hands but learned it without practising thanks to that.
🎉🎉❤
We were one day away from a haha funny moment
Guys look at 1:49 in the vid HE DID THE L SIT ON DAY 1!!
Come on Goku…I mean Brendan!
how does ANYTHING where a relatively fit guy has to train for two months with quite a bit of dedication classify as a beginner's move?
The algorithm really did this one dirty…
Stretching your hamstrings is key
That takes some ab strength.
you could already do it with the paralletes. it’s not that crazy tbh
Just timed myself and can do 13 seconds.
im at square one rn i bet i can do it in 30

So he was already able to do an l sit from the beginning. Not for long but he could already do it. The video should therefore be renamed ;-)
68 days , I learned it in 2 weeks 😢
Anyone else get down and try it only to learn you already could?

Come on. You finished one day short!
How I learned to read in 6 years
Should've waited another day.
Aynı sakal ve çoraplarla 67 gün 😂
The L sit is an isometric exercise, not a calisthenic, just like the plank is an isometric.
Its kind of surprising that you apparently worked out yet your core strength was unable to do the L Sit for even like 1 or 2 seconds. Your core is used in effectively every exercise imaginable so....
Lol I did it first try
Should've gone 69 days
Penif...teehehehee
L sit is classified as a *beginner* goal *Sir are you sure about it*
am i the only one that learned how to L sit in like less than a month? i feel like this isn't one of those things that require months to get it right

Need some day to get it, and some weeks for get longer hold time. I think you have to work for it, then you get fast results.
Dude, you were sitting on the ground, anybody can do that and lift their legs up.
Honestly, I don't have a personal issue with Calisthenics. But Reality dictates you will lose your Life if your lower body is .05% behind the other half. Thanks for reading.

So you are saying having thick thighs will save lives ? 😂 . Then hey why not just do hybrid calisthenics 😉
Why would anyone wanna do this?
