    I remember doing something like that for 5 days. It was a nightmare, you can't sleep, because you are starving. I could literally feel my organs shrinking and it's not a fun experience. No energy, thinking about food non stop, depressing. By the way I have low body fat, it's totally different for people with high body fat.

    I did the FMD last year, ate all my favourite foods, just much less to hit the macros, and dropped almost 2% body fat....that wasnt replaced when I was back at my normal (healthy) habits. I continued with me workout routine during the 5 FMD days. And I only did it for one week! 😊

    Friendly reminder, this test is the fast mimicking diet done wrong. This diet was mentioned in the last video they did on biological aging where it was said that you should be only doing this 15 days PER YEAR, not 15 days in less than 3 months. Obviously this is still a new "fad" diet so more research is definitely needed, but if one was going to test it, it's a good idea to follow the actual recommendations of the people who developed it.

    It was actually developed and tested with the assistance of Dr. Morgan Levine who wrote the book they mentioned in their last video on aging, however the actual recommendation (as they mentioned in that video) was 15 total "fasting" days PER YEAR, not 15 in a quarter of that time. So far, when done correctly, it's shown little to no adverse health affects in healthy individuals. That being said, intermittent fasting, alternate day fasting, or any other type of fasting regimen that's safe can have similar benefits.

What I got is a realistic documentation, some critical insight from a real expert and your realisation that moving a lot and eating healthy is not only enough, it WORKS (and it also works while working (!). And all of this in 11 30 minutes?Thank you so much for that. In the end, you should not fit into a diet. Nutrition should be aedaquate and helpful for your lifestyle!

    No wonder it didn't work. You do the research before you diet, not during the diet. You should limit your fasting (like 24hrs once or twice a month) eat healthy options, stay away from sugar and you'll be fine. No wonder you aged...no brainer!

  • @rcs3681
    @rcs3681Ай бұрын

    Wouldn’t it have been a no brainer that the rapid weight loss in the first week/month would’ve come from the excessive restriction of calories and protein intake and resulting in loss of water weight and muscle mass?? Idk I just found the “surprised” comment at 7lbs weight loss kinda…. idk this is common knowledge no??? 😂😂 Also, what’s not mentioned here is that regular EXERCISE also induces autophagy - which negates the need for persistent fasting.

    AFAIK your biological age depends more on your fat and muscle percentage. If you are lean, your biological age will be closer to your real age. But if you are fat, you can be 25 years of age, but your biological age can be 40!
