Maybe challage mentality is the problem, being fit is a lifestyle change. You are what you do most often so if you go on unsustainable training and diet regime and then quit after you get the results you will go back to sitting/unhealthy eating lifestyle body. He could plan his transformation over whole year and make living like that into a habbit.

I’ve seen this man go through so many body transformations. I wouldn’t be surprised if he got real fat for shits & giggles. Then lose it all in one week. Guy is a beast.

He's still in fantastic shape to be honest even after putting on a few kgs. He's still pretty muscular at the start of the vid. A previously untrained person would lose weight but never have that definition after 100 days. Still a great job though

He definitely needs to go Coach Greg: that breakfast... At least 200 kcal in the banana & egg yolks. They equals 200g of egg white he could add to his regular-a** bread™ for a filling and tasty french toast! Edit: looking tight!

Im really not a fan of Gregs diet anymore. I tried it for about a year and it worked from a pure fat loss perspective. But it had a lot of problems. Eating all those high Volume and low calorie foods really screws with your digestion. I felt bloated and had cravings way more often thann before. Also your body adjusts to the high volume and eating "normal" food for a few days doesnt really fill you up any more. I still watch my calories and make a few compromises in my diet, but just eating healthy - many vegetables, good sources of protein (at least 60% of them vegan), good fats, etc. feels so much better. Gregs diet is so close to giving you "anxiety" because of 100cals of oil, its rediculous. I now eat around 2400 calories on my cut of healty foods (WITH LESS VOLUME) and I feel much better, fuller and my appetite has lowerd, compared to Gregs diet. Sorry for my grammar, bad spellig, etc. English is not my first language^^

@@aljoschanoe4155 I like his approach but I agree that there's something about focusing on volume , protein and little calories doesn't keep you full as much as Gregg advertises. Maybe we misunderstood him? He promotes fiber as well. Maybe it's about eating often, but low calorie high volume foods.

@@IGarrettI I also lost quite a bit of weight on his diet but I rebounded hard and now weigh the most I ever have. His diet is great but yeah I would have to agree eating higher quality food is just going to make you feel better.

What worked for me was intermittent fasting, with cardio one day and compound lifting the other. I ate normal food, but no sugar and bread. I heard horror stories about "normal food" in the US, so I guess it's "abnormal food" for Americans.

@@steveparr5586 I know at least 2 trainers that are chonkers, and maybe 24-25% bodyfat, but they used to be morbidly obese, and 45+% bodyfat. So, after losing a bunch of weight and finding a love for fitness, I can understand naturally falling into a trainer position... But I can't believe that's the case for most of the fluffier personal trainers.
