Hiraya Balisong

Фильм және анимация

"Hiraya"
Hiraya is an ancient Filipino word with a popular translation "the fruit of one's hopes, dreams and aspirations". Another translation of the word "hiraya" which also believed to have originated from an old Tagalog word "Haraya" which means "the power of the mind to create something non-existent." this word is believed to be borrowed from the Sanskrit "hrdaya" or "hridaya", which, like the Tagalog equivalent, means consciousness or mind.
"Hiraya" is a balisong project with an overall length of 36 cm, with a 16 cm blade, 4mm at the thickest, double-edged 15 lok keris-inspired blade made from a steel file, with brass scroll adornment at the tang.
The handle construction is of stainless skeleton-type housing, brass bolsters, and a compound brass and narra for the handle scale held in place by the brass rod as rivetting pins.
"Hiraya", my 18th balisong design, will be the newest addition to my "S" lineup. Named after the imaginative and creative process that brought it to life, is a testament to the power of the mind and body to turn dreams and ideas into a tangible reality.
