Ойын-сауық

Heroes represent the best of us, inspiring us to look beyond ourselves and to sacrifice for others... and that is why they have to be destroyed.

I always wondered why they're killing off all the heros. I never thought about it from a lens of patriarchy. Makes so much sense what these ideologically bankrupt monsters are doing now.

I'm glad the game seems to be a financial flop. 4th-Wave-feminist-Harlequin is so insufferable. Hopefully James Gunn takes note of this situation. He can do outcast characters, but I'm not sure about his ability to put an authentic Superman onscreen...

Came from watching the Larian Studios documentary (creators of BG3) and a lot of things stood out. A lot of them talked about how during development there was so much financial uncertainty. Sven Vincke tells of the story where one day he just didn't have enough money to pay for gas. He and I believe the community manager? talk about how there were times that they couldn't get their stipend, which resulted in people leaving because they couldn't keep signing weekly contracts anymore. Sven had to pay out of his own pocket at times when finances became dire. Just goes to show the incredible difference between out-of-touch execs and a really close-knit development team. They even said in their recent Dice Awards that the most important thing in developing videogames is to foster a community, constantly interact with them, and build a fun game for them. To the point where people who didn't like ttrpgs, crpgs, turn-based content, etc., respected the game even if it wasn't for them.

This is the difference between a smaller independent developers and ones owned by corporate megastructures. No one thinks game development is easy, but the contrast between products catered to satisfy ESG and those focus on the audience couldn't be starker.

I agree with this video heroes and those went from zero to hero are hated by those who can't work to better themselves and who really the villains and the so called heroes they make and promote are heroes to look up too this is why try my best to write true heroes in comics why write some truly vile and awful villains

Killing off our heroes isn't gonna make us buy car insurance, or travle fare. And killing off afternoon cartoon blocks isn't gonna make us watch news, and tabloid shows.

Harley Quinn killing Batman is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. The authenticity was off…..they tried to make her a legacy character but it doesn't stick. It's cheap and a knock-off.

The west is killing it's entertainment industry. We all see the rise of manga and anime, but I swear how many Chinese games on steam I bought last year - some indie developers are killing it there. Games are small, maybe the graphics are outdated, but I have fun playing some random wuxia rpg and it's FUN. Eastern European developers also kick ass, we have a backlog of great games so we can just ignor new shit realses. Most games are complete after a year or two of fixing and dlc anyway so you can get great games at a low price point. Good video, keep up the good work:)

Don't forget about Madame Web and Spider-Man. It was Ezekiel Sims. If you're at all familiar with the comics, Zeke was a friend to Peter, and he got his powers from an ancient spider god, I think. Doesn't really matter. He was a Spider-Man, and women killed him. Then there's the issue with skin-tight costumes on underage girls. Uncomfortable.

7:02 Nope. Didn't like it on announcement. Didn't watch either movie, and I didn't care for their run in the comics. I get the idea, but we have characters like The Punisher for a reason. I can't remember if DC has an equivalent other than The Preacher, Constantine, and The Sandman. I know those got adaptations, and I don't know how any of them are.

Honestly love the game, have beat it through twice, and it’s way less buggy than Helldivers 2 which I am also enjoying. I’ve been reading various comics since the late 90s. Superman is my favorite hero cause of his considerations, Batman is great too and I love the dynamics between the two. But so many fail to see how compromising the wills and values that these characters traditionally maintain will also compromise their effectiveness, which is subtle but in full display in this game. The heroes in this game do not die because of social/political reasons like most suggest. I wish more would think for themselves rather than just say the same thing they hear others say. Cause this game does a lot of unique and interesting thing’s mechanically. And past the main narrative there is so much love for the justice league. Batman’s performance is unlike any other Kevin has done before and you can hear how much fun he had playing Batman like this unhinged psycho.
