    Corruption is at the core of this country with the merger of corporate and legislative powers. People dont realize how bad it is because neighbors arn't being dragged down the street in the middle in the night, but dying silently quietly away from prying eyes where the person themselves doesn't even understand why they are dying.

    I did try a CGM for 3 months. I skipped my hair cuts and my dogs grooming to afford this item which my health “care” insurance wont cover. I learned what works, what doesnt, and where my blood glucose levels ebbed and flowed. Good heavens, I will never approach food the same again. Your stated phrase, “Invited into your own health care” is a PERFECT and EXCELLENT descriptor of the attitude that all medical care professionals need to embrace. Hooray!

    I was desperate when I started keto too! I tried most of the diets he talked about. I was bed bound (IIH) at the beginning of 2021 and through carnivore and keto I am so close to fully functional!! Thank you both! As I continue to watch. My illness came on as a migraine with seizures and the neurologist just gave me 23 different medications in one year.

    An acquaintance has suffered from migraines for many years and I have suggested that he try an elimination diet of beef, butter, bacon and eggs as Dr Ken Berry suggests. Sadly he doesn't seem interested. I went low carb after being diagnosed can cause causes blindness and kidney damage. It's sad that some/most people don't seem to be willing to try something for a short time to see if it works. Within the first week I noticed that my sleep quality improved. Without even trying I am now at my mid 1980s weight before having children. Even after losing 22kg and having been overweight/obese for 3+ decades, I can notice if I put on a bit of weight and it's funny because I feel fat!

    I just finished reading Dr. Boz book Any Way You Can. I learned so much about body chemistry. I'm so glad I took the time to read such a comprehensive book. It only reinforced why I need this. My top reason for starting Keto was weight loss but after reading the book, my goal shifted to brain health, inflammation and my depression. I love the measurable aspects because numbers don't lie. I'm in day 3 my Ketones are in the moderate range. I wish people would really take the time to understand how their body works. I'm becoming more disenchanted with the medical community. They don't care about my health, they care about my insurance plan.

    Great podcast as usual, Dr. Boz. I have heard Nic speak on other channels and his own channel...such a logical and articulate researcher. Concerning an LDL metric, what does the research conclude for someone with an LDL of such magnitude purport for cardiovascular health 20, 30 or 40 years longitudinally? Less heart attacks or strokes? More heart attacks and strokes? No effects? What is the risk profile for 2, 3, or 4 decades longitudinally and not just for a 1-to-5-year risk assessment? Thanks for your post...

    I was listening to someone recently who said that the reason for trial is to prove the hypothesis wrong, not right. And to continue doing that to eliminate the wrong hypotheses. He said that a hypothesis cannot be definitely proven correct, only proven incorrect. It was very interesting.

  • @raymitchell9736

    @raymitchell9736

    11 күн бұрын

    @@jobrown8146 Yes the so-called NULL hypothesis is the claim that the effect being studied does not exist. If the data collected shows a normal-distribution, that's what we'd expect for the general population... or what we're seeing here is the data sorted from lowest to highest instead of percentiles LDL level vs. plaquing... when I saw the graphs, I inferred that since the data in the "control" group and the LMHR were treated the same, and similar to each other, I came to the conclusion that the LDL cannot be determining variable of plaquing, thus not a variable for a causal relationship for CVD in general. I'm not a doctor or researcher in the medical field, but I can reason logically given data and a graph. This is yet another of several studies I've seen showing this result, and at this point I feel that it is disingenuous to continue the charade that LDL is cause of Heart disease and move on to another hypothesis and model... but too much money and people's reputations are on the line for that to change. The best we can do is study up and be educated because I don't think pharma has OUR best interests at heart.

Lowered with low carb keto...but he started to be confused in the evenings and I had him take his blood pressure. It was too low and I wanted advice from his Dr. But she is very Military establishment..follow the food pyramid..don't do anything except what she learned in med school...She doesn't give good advice, she gives Rx. So we are stuck hoping to find the right advice and thing thru the problem ourselves. While that following the data is great...I am NOT trained to even know what the data means. A lmhr with high ldl seems to be like a lot of firewood without oxygen and ignition to cause a fire (heart disease). oh yah... I've been noticing that in his videos. Could it be a filter of some sort? Or is he choosing to look like Mario

    She who? Dr Boz? If so... I have to admit culpability for being terrible at interrupting people myself. In any case, I think we are both "enthusiastic" speakers and that's a good thing, on balance. Enjoyed the convo... maybe not my ideal thumbnail but it will probably get views... so, conflicted... hehe. Thanks for tuning in.

    Don’t be so rude, Jackie. Most of us are here to learn from both of them and that means conversations that flow back and forth.

    @@G--do8ro I think last time I was on I got the same criticism as Jackie is rendering at Anette. As I said, I think it's great we are enthusiastic. And I think both she and I appreciate feedback; however, it's best received when the critique is compassionately posed, rather than with derision. Thanks.

    You obviously don't know this guy. He will have tested his blood many times, when conducting tests on himself he will have had blood tests multiple times a day.

    I have 4 papers published on myself... feel free to go fishing on pubmed. Quickly, you know I have an LMHR profile. For specifics on my last HDL and TG, 125 mg/dl and 40-50 mg/dl on last check. Insulin
