You must be new here. Every previous video of Shohei hitting a homer or striking out batters had the haters coming out. They must be jumping for joy now that Shohei is injured and out for the season, sick f**ks.

The game where home run king Otani struck out second home run king Roberto and hit two home runs himself was crazy.

Seager has a WAR of 6.7 this year. Ohtani has a WAR of 10.1, which is greater than the best single-seasons of Griffey Jr., Rickey Henderson, Adrian Beltré, and countless others. Seager is not on Shohei’s level.

Ohtanis 1st 3 years he barley played. And this last season he couldnt finish. I would take every single player you just listed there, career wise, over Ohtani, excdept seager. Seager and Ohtani have both had real issues playing full seasons. It will be close but I think Seager might edge him out this year if he stays on the same pace.

All meaningless season stats, couldn’t hit one homerun against the Phillies, a World Series team, when it counted. Harper hit 2. Ohtani can’t clutch when it really matters.

@@toxicmoldmedia Shohei Ohtani hits .343/.452/.714 (1.167 OPS/214 wRC+) in high-leverage situations, which is absolutely freakin' busted. But he gets a negative Clutch grade (-1.09) because he's too good in normal situations and that's not elevated enough from his normal performance

He is a fighter, and he already proved to be a real two-way player at such a high level nobody had been able to do. Do not compare him with any other player who is simply one hitter or one pitcher. Shohei does all, deserving a name of "Baseball God."

@@camnetdrhill Yes, Shohei is an Angel for the baseball (externally), but deep internally, Shohei is a fighter to achieve what no one has achieved, as he set his life goal at the age of 16. He has achieved "MVP at WBC" and "MVP at MLB", and many others already. His main goal now is to be a proven TWO-WAY player.

i’m so glad i’ve gotten the opportunity to see him play multiple times now. definitely is one of the best to ever do it

Without him, baseball is not fun at all. I miss him so much. At first, many people said “it’s impossible to perform as a 2-way player” but he made the impossible possible. I believe he’ll be back and do it again.

I have been chased shohei from he was high school student player . When he just graduated high school he said “ I want to play at USA !” I was so surprised for his word from then he became my life of hope and made my life exciting. Hope he never come back Angels and he will get World Series champions ring and be “ Real God of Baseball “!

If you know baseball and look at Shohei’s two-way craziest stats it is simply UNREAL. He was straight fire in 2023 and no one can touch hum!!! He definitely showed off that he is the true Most Valuable Player in the MLB and baseball world!

As good as what he’s done at the plate and the mound are, this guy has done something no one else has done. He’s brought people back to the game that left in 94. I’ve never seen a player ignite interest like him.

Not only is he an outstanding pitcher, an amazing power hitter, and an incredible base runner, he demonstrates everything an aspiring athlete should be: gracious, fun-loving, charming, generous. It is truly remarkable not only because of his feats in the sport of baseball, but also that he is so beloved in every stadium.

Shohei Ohtani’s comeback next year will be epic specially if it’s in a new team and not to mention when he’s back on the mount pitching again, he will reign the MLB for years to come.
