His first few years his mom managed all his money for him giving him an allowance ..which he saved the vast majority of. He's an incredibly loyal dude that loves what he does.     Shohei is the Definition of someone who eats, sleeps and breathes baseball all day everyday. Striving for greatness. Definitely a living breathing anime legend in the flesh.     Most people don’t understand how difficult it is to start games as a pitcher and also bat in the lineup. There’s a reason nobody else has done it or can do it since the babe

    Babe Ruth only really did it for one season and he pitched in the deadball era too. Ohtani is hitting 45 hrs and pitching in a high offense environment. There's no comparison.

    Considering they lost Trout mid season and he has no "protection" so to speak i think they did well. But they need more QUALITY pitchers

    For real he's such a good player and after the season he had last year it's a must if they want to make baseball more popular. My family are Angels fans but I prefer watch other sports. Ohtani and Trout are the reasons I'm watching again. The only thing I can see is them not promoting him or making him the face of baseball is the fact he doesn't speak english or speak it well enough at the moment so I can see that negatively affecting his chances on the marketing aspect.

    He understands the value of recovery and the best workout is really sleep. It is easy to get distracted and lose focus but Shohei understands the long game.
