His first few years his mom managed all his money for him giving him an allowance ..which he saved the vast majority of. He's an incredibly loyal dude that loves what he does. I'm not saying he won't end up elsewhere I'm just saying it'll take more then a paycheck to lure him there.

Why is that? I'm not a baseball fan, but by all measures he's one of the greatest sportsman in the world. I get the language barrier, but the MLB and the media should be promoting him as he's due. Special athletes like this only come around once in a lifetime.

Babe Ruth only really did it for one season and he pitched in the deadball era too. Ohtani is hitting 45 hrs and pitching in a high offense environment. There's no comparison.

For real he's such a good player and after the season he had last year it's a must if they want to make baseball more popular. My family are Angels fans but I prefer watch other sports. Ohtani and Trout are the reasons I'm watching again. The only thing I can see is them not promoting him or making him the face of baseball is the fact he doesn't speak english or speak it well enough at the moment so I can see that negatively affecting his chances on the marketing aspect.
