@@norpriest521 real question? If so let me put this in simple terms. So there are players that pitch right? You would call them pitchers they don’t usually hit and if they do they are trash, but there are also players who hit you would call them batters. The special thing about shohei is that he does… BOTH and both really well at that

Dude can hit. Dude can pitch. Dude can steal. One man army. Dude is young and suave and has time on his side. Good role model stays out of trouble. Can wait to see all the records he will set and break.

I'm a basketball guy. This man reminds me of Michael Jordan. He has the most complete game I've ever seen. He can do it all. Imagine losing your team's lead as a pitcher and then putting your team ahead again in the batter's box. Lol.

I have soo much respect for Ohtani for having one of the greatest season in baseball historty, as a person who played college ball myself, to hit a baseball is the hardest thing in all of sports but to pitch at a high level, it's off the charts, Mr.Ohtani I bow to you, Amazing!👏

I don't think I ever dreamed in my life time that we would see an elite two way player in the big leagues!

Who knows how long this will last... how long can this go on?? Well, let's enjoy this living legend while we can.

He's humble, an amazing pitcher, and absolute slugger! 1 in a lifetime professional athlete

What I like about Shohei is that he is so humble. He is insanely good (I think the best player in the league) but he isn’t cocky about it.

He needs to go a team that cares about winning (hint hint the Angels aren’t that). They are completely wasting his career, and they’re on track for their 7th consecutive losing season. Firing Maddon was a good start as he wasn’t effective but they’re still also in a very hard division especially with Houston eons ahead of them.

@@liliandolor2787 Especially right now that he became a national hero, I bet MILLIONS of girls are sliding their dms on his IG. But too bad Ohtani is married to the sport, even the things he buys are helping his body to improve his game (pillow for sleep, and other body apparatus).

Ohtani is the best player we have seen in our lifetime. Like Babe Ruth, he will be known and talked about for many generations. The best thing about him is he doesn't showboat or shove his success in his opponents' face--no bat flips or stare downs.

His main goal should still be getting a ring which is very unlikely with the Angels as the team is a dumpster fire and on track for yet another losing season at the bottom (or close to) of the AL West

He does actually show a lot of emotion and pops off on the mound more than most pitchers and more than has been acceptable in baseball in the past. But he deserves to do it tbh

@@SSTSG723 Maddon has since been fired (deservedly so, he was very ineffective) so anything is possible from here on out. But at a current record of 39-53 they’re on the outside looking in. But the fact is they’re in a very hard division

It's official. I am going to replace steals with Ohtanis. That wasn't 5 steals that was 5 Ohtanis. The man is a living legend. Making stealing bases look so easy like stealing candy from a baby.

If he was on another team, he might have won more. but he had chances to challenge as a pitcher and a batter because of this team.

He is a "god" sent sportsman. He has a kind of rituals to do before pitching or standing in the batter box. He picks up trashed from the ground always before getting ready, which he does to clean his heart and spirit, and he pays respect for all the teammates and rivals, even for them umpires. His performance is the result of clean and pure sportsmanship, and hard works of trainings and respectful behaviors.
