I didn't have the stomach upset that usually creates so I had no idea. Well, I decided to get off of all wheat products and in ONE WEEK, all my rashes were gone!!! Wow! What a relief, and what a bummer at the same time.

This is a new favorite! I agree with some other commenters about the amount of almond flour. I started with 1/2 cup and ended up with 3/4 cup after carefully mixing completely. I also added 1/2 packet of yeast as suggested by commenters. This bread does taste heavily of egg, so I decided to embrace it and make French toast. First I toasted the slices well to encourage them to hold their shape. Using sugar-free maple syrup brought me right back to my childhood. Very filling and super easy to make.

He ACTUALLY Said: "This was not terrible.. in FACT - I Can't believe I'm even saying this.. it was DELICIOUS!!!" SUGGESTION: STOP CHOPPING UP the ENTIRE STATEMENT, and TWISTING it into Something FALSE, just to Satisfy your own INSECURITIES, by trying to Embarrass someone!! You're obviously a DEEPLY DISTURBED and BITTER Person - to feel the NEED to do something SOOO WARPED! Do something NICE Every Day, and MAYBE It will help you become a NICER human being!!! Good God, Riley P... Who are You? the Tube-Judge?? lol RELAX! I wanted to make a point, so that people like her will Stop being destructive to others, with lies! Look at how many people Checked her 'Like' box (over 80), who came to watch, enjoy and learn from this man.. and who she's influenced with her LIE about him and tried to make him look bad! There's little respect when people don't care enough to be honest. If they are not called out in a memorable way - they will feel free to ignore the facts, and hurt others! When I see someone who lies in 'any' way - in order to 'Denigrate' people and crush their reputation - it's Imperative that people speak out and correct the LIE! Obviously, since it was so Easy for this one to lie about this man, who is someone with a kind and positive persona about him, and who has built a nice fan base - it's HATEFUL to come along and just 'Make up Lies' to Hurt him! I think if more people speak up, then people like her will think Twice, before they make Statements that are twisted from truth! That's all I will have to say.

I absolutely agree, Cris! When people just sit back and do nothing, that's how very, little by little-really negative and evil things happen! Little things are big things… It doesn't matter. People should speak up when they see another is being misrepresented or attacked-or when something should be corrected. It's just not right that people should be able to get away with downright lies that hurt other people. There's too much of that going on in our world today!

Ace Lightning well, that supposes a universally accepted definition of bread as something made with grain. And all the definitions i could find were nonspecific in their mentioning of "flour" and "meal" . Nevertheless I completely agree with your assessment of this as an unsweetened soufflè

:) But literally, for those that have to be grain-free, like those having Celiac, an autoimmune condition that can't tolerate Gluten (found in wheat, rye, barley and by processing-default, in oats, unless otherwise marked), or for those that know better than to eat wheat, or that have gone Paleo with their eating (= no grains.)

Faern Nashar, not really. You make French Toast by making a custard of milk (or cream) and eggs, flavored with vanilla and perhaps a bit of sugar if you're so inclined. This is far from that.

Excellent recipe. Light pleasant almond flavor when it first comes out of the oven that dissipates after it cools overnight then the flavor is fairly neutral. It tastes a little more eggy toasted. The ease of the recipe and lack of gums or hard to find binders makes this a great grain free bread to make on the fly.
