Always a pleasure seeing more Necromunda content! Finally got to play my first game of new Necromunda (a big non-campaign counted 4 player free for all) after so long being unable to play due to covid. Was great to put all the conversions your channel inspired me to build out on the table at long last. Highlight of the game being my Cawdor bonepicker surviving against a Goliath charge in close combat, then getting charged by the Goliath leader as well. And somehow against all odds heroically holding out just long enough for my Heavy crossbow to get into position and shoot the Goliath leader in the back with a krak bolt. :D

For the Gsc I think using the shockwhips on an Aberant is a quick way to get ahead. And loose friends...

You know what, I've never thought of that combination before! So some reason, I just keep getting my head stuck on power hammers and power picks because WYSIWYG. But shock whips on Aberrants... It is equal parts intriguing and intimidating at the same time :D

Seems like a pretty good pick. Two Chainswords also wouldn't be a bad choice. They've got the advantage of a natural +1 to hit so the aberrants hit the magical 2+ to hit in melee and it grants double parry to provide some close combat protection.

Lots of great info in the video. Unfortunately for the Versatile build none of the kits have the appropriate gear. No lasguns in the Neophyte box, and no grenade launchers in the Acolyte box. Building that list requires a ton of kitbashing.

So for the xenos build in book of ruin it says that leaders count towards the the neophyte ratio. Would you think it’s a good idea to drop the specialist and just to bring in 2 more las gun neophytes?

Not really. Starting off with a grenade launchernis really going to help. After all, you can always get 2 more neophytes with lasguns as the campaign develops.

Is the last list viable as you have under 50% neophytes in the list?

That is correct. Their urules can be found in the Book of Ruin

Are familiars broken in this game? They seem to do an awful lot for 25cr

@@CommanderCheapSkate I guess the fact they have good chance to avoid hits that are already hard to come by in necromunda, alongside all the stuff like picking up objects, opening doors and coup de grace, it's a steal for 25cr. And each champion can have 2. Why do you think they aren't broken?

@@domodoeslife4741 1. You still have to roll to see if their handler gets hit. And anyone can fail a roll. 2. The new animal companions for some of the gangs can do the same thing. 3. They're really squishy.
