Lol!

Flamers/Blunderpoles and templates of all kinds are prob. one of the more reliable ways to fight CGCs, since you will prob. be facing a lot of smoke

Indeed, Template weapons really help that way!

It's only the champs and leader that require a will check to be shot at, you can shoot skinners and initiates without a check. Initiates seem vastly undercosted, the only limitation being that there's only 6 on the sprue, but then you could get a box of cultists from the abyss, call them initiates, and just spam them if you're 'that guy'

I am "that guy" and would proxy the heck out of Initiates if I played Corpse Grinders :D. But good catch on the masks!

@@CommanderCheapSkate Yeah, I'd be fine with proxying too, but I'd use the corpse grinder minis first, and then proxy after that. I'd feel bad just spamming initiates - it's the most effective thing to do, but it's cheating IMO

I really love the concept behind the CGC it's just a shame their special mask rules aren't really fun to play against. It puts me off recommending anyone in my playgroup actually tries them out. Especially as we're planning to mostly play on Zone mortalis boards to start off.

I find that "ganging" up on a Corpse Grinder Butcher, Cutter, or Skinner is the best approach. Granted, most of your fighters won't hit, but using a blast template weapon solves this.

Would you recommend fitting in an Ambot into the starting list? I like its ability to infiltrate and how scary the meltas are. How would a starting list featuring an Ambot look?

Normally you can't hire a brute in a starting list. But in a skirmish game you can. Usually in a skirmish game you 1200 points to create your gang. For a CGC gang, I'd drop the skinners to get the Ambot because the initiates more useful!

How can you do commanding presence if the ability doesnt have on his rules sheet? Or does all leaders allowed to do it? Let ke know in rulebook as well. Thanks!

All leaders have Leadership as a primary skill. Leaders and Champions automatically come with a single primary skill to start a campaign. So take a leader, give them the commanding presence skill when they start a campaign.

Do I see that correct that you can start with 3 Cutters from the start?

You can! Just remember you still have to balance out your gang with spinners or initiates to do itn😎
