Hey.. Man of Steel was fantastic and the consensus from everyone who parroted the dumb critics said it was a bad movie. I'm still gonna check out Rebel Moon. Snyder is hit or miss .. but when he hits, .. He does amazing work. People are stupid the way they pretend he's such a horrible director.

Fury Road was also Mad Maxless, he was a biach in that film chained up. This is not Mad Max, George Miller has gone Mad himself. I will not see this new film. I loved the Mel Gibson Mad Max films and I don't like apocalyptic films in general. Just Say NO to Mad Maxless films using the Mad Max brand!

‘Did you need a origin story’ dude no movie is NECESSARY, its made for entertainment, no one asked for mad max but Miller made it, movies don’t exist for some divine purpose. But yeah Miller shot himself in the foot shooting in Australia instead of Namibia and retroactively painting out the backgrounds with VFX

The production of fury road in the middle of the desert and was extremely dangerous and stressful for everyone I rather have an crew and actors being safe and comfortable at the cost of CI backgrounds than another development hell that was fury road

The cgi was my main worry. And its all but confirmed now. I was gunna give it the benefit of the doubt cuz fury road was so awesome. But now I’ll rely on the critics to get me to see it

@@jchandlersabeast yeah tbh it has all the red flags like making an unrelated female character the main character in the movie. Obviously theres nothing wrong with a female character but we all know the people in Hollywood only include women for pandering and brownie points and definitely not to put in the effort of making a good or likeable character. And the CGI was very noticeable, so the movie was likely rushed.

But Furiosa premiere is in the next days. Where you see the movie or this is same kind of trick for catch views ?

I mean this as a compliment in saying that Chris' movie reviews have gotten so much better than the early DCEU days. IMO he now provides nuance that I just didn't see from him back then. He takes greater effort to detail what he didn't like even with movies that he gives thumbs up to. I really appreciate this change!

@@TheHorrorShowChannel shot composition and the overall confidence in the images are so apparent in the trailers that it would really sadden me if the movie turns out bad. I think you and the majority of the people are only looking at the cgi, which i can also understand

The fan made HOPE AND GLORY is the appetizer. FURIOSA will be the main course.

I love the movies, but the Mad Max Universe could be an AMAZING TV series.

That tone of voice tho.. I really was looking forward to seeing this at the cinema 😢 Have you seen the trailer for The Strangers? Looks pretty good 👍

I still have a fair few positives for the film, but yeah I just felt let down in certain areas 🙂

I waited 9 fcking years for mad max 2. Fury road was a masterpiece and i was sure they will make even more epic sequel. Now we get this wtf

I also have to agree with u chris i have seen a test screening and unlike fury road that left me wanting more by the end credits i kept clock watching after the 1hr30min mark and was wanting it to wrap up as i felt as u said it was just very much a slow prologue

So was this movie already officialy released?

I think it's foolish to believe a follow up (or a prequel in this case) could be as good or even better than Fury Road. FR was pretty unique in its conception and execution. Man, it's like watching fireworks in the sky for two hours. Everything what follows after Fury Road, at least for me, is just another gift from Miller to Mad Max fans and I am gonna cherrish every minute of it in the cinema. Do you remember when people were complaining about that Fury Road has no story?? Now with Furiosa we'll get much more (back)story and guess what, people will complain about the missing nonstop action from Fury Road 😅

When it came out in 2019, I saw Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It was one of the best movies of the year and the best entry in the MonsterVerse so war. It had everything a longtime classic Godzilla fan can want. The critics and a few people hated for reasons I can’t understand. My point is that I can’t knock a film until I see it. I’m pumped for this film and I’ll see it regardless of what other people say. I truly hope I love it though!!!

Oh no it's not as good as the greatest movie ever made? if I disqualified mivies for not being as good as "Fury Road" i would never watch another movie, I'm still hyped and am excited to go back to George Miller's world and cant wait to see this on my oh Jesus 50th Birthday, in fact I haven't been as excited for a sequal on my Birthday since Empire Strikes Back
