Furiosa and Tom Hardy’s character were great in Fury Road. I hope they’re in the sequel, and the actors Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron can learn to get along to make movie magic again.

Fury Road is one of my favorite movies across ALL genres. I can't wait for this movie to show up in the movies section of Wal-Mart so I can have a hard copy for if the internet in my area craps out for whatever reason.

Very hype! I loved Fury Road and I love Anya Taylor Joy so I'm 100% on board. I wouldn't be surprised if Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes moved its release day. It would be crazy for both of those big movies to come out on the weekend

I am beyond pumped for this movie. Movies for the longest time grew dull, and without true cinematic impact, however when fury road came out i teared up as it was everything that movies lacked. It was and always be a masterpiece in every since of the word.

I always thought of each movie in a different version of the wastelands and Max was just in different situations.

Oh man Fury Road was really good & I’m optimistic about Furiosa.

But props to Anya. She prides Argentina 🇦🇷 but her English is so clean. You can't tell she's Latina when she voiced Peach.

*Mad* *Max:* *Fury* *Road* So I finally rewatched all of Fury Road last week after not seeing it for 8 years. I've seen it twice before. Once in the theater and another time at home. I remember back in 2015, we already had a clear bootleg copy of it after two weeks from release. Man, why the hell did Fury Road not win Best Picture for 2015? I saw The Revenant and it's not as good as Fury Road. The first 30 minutes of Fury Road moves at a frenetic pace. It's nearly balls-to-the-wall action from start to finish with only the quiet moments coming in the second act after the one hour mark when Furiosa discovers her home is gone. Hardly a dull moment in the film. It's like that first Predator (1987) where the action doesn't really stop until the end credits. The action moves at a relentless pace for nearly 90 of the 120 minutes. It's a bit sadder than how I remember it. Poor Nux. Revisiting my favorite 2015 films... My Top 5 Favs (Written In 2015) 1. Avengers: Age of Ultron 4. Jurassic World 5. The Force Awakens What the hell was I thinking having The Force Awakens as my favorite of 2015? Now I did have a blast watching TFA in IMAX 3D. One of my greatest theater experiences ever. Then I watched it a second time in a normal theater screen. But the movie didn't age well for me once I saw it at home around March 2016. And of course, there is all this hate on the Sequel Trilogy and on Rey when this wasn't the case before The Last Jedi. I still like TFA and it's still the best film from the ST. But that's not saying much when TLJ and TROS are so despised by SW fans. The Hateful Eight moved up to No. 1 because it's the one I've listened to the most. It's quite a divisive film similar to Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. Some love it, some hate it or find it mid. But I love listening to the dialogue. Walton Goggins is a phenomenal actor. Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the greatest action films ever made and arguably the best of this century. True, some people didn't care for it. I know my brother didn't. He's not into that aesthetics. He's more into James Bond-like design. His least favorite decade is the 1970s because he's not into that fashion. He's also not into the hippie crowd. He's basically like Rick Dalton in Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood. I know Chris of Film Stocked also did not like Fury Road. Hey, you can't please everyone. I'm with the majority and think Fury Road should've won Best Picture for 2015. I put Fury Road up there as one of the top 10 best action/adventure films I've seen in the theater. I remember sitting next to my girlfriend and just having a big smile on my face when we got to the final act. I wanted to headbang and do the devil sign 🤘🏻 like I was Beavis and Butt-Head. It felt like we weren't just watching a movie but a rock concert. My girlfriend and I walked out of the theater with huge smiles in our faces. We had so much fun watching it. Fury Road is Duel (1971), The Book of Eli (2010) and then fusing it with Sega Rally and Twisted Metal. It's a chase/escape movie, a western, a post-apocalyptic dystopian film, a racing game, a demolition derby game, and Coachella/Woodstock rolled into one. Sprinkle some Dune in it. It's so beautifully shot too. It's almost like a landscape painting Bob Ross made. The scene with all the tornadoes was so epic. The first 30 minutes of Fury Road is better than most action films last 30 minutes. While it didn't win Best Picture, it still won 6 Academy Awards. Fury Road is up there with all the greatest action films like Predator, Die Hard, and Terminator 2. It's that f*cking great! The movie kicks so much ass even 8.5 years later. Perhaps Furiosa will never be as good as Fury Road because Fury Road is a flawless Mad Max movie. But I'll still be there to watch Furiosa because there aren't a lot of franchises similar to Mad Max. Immortan Joe is like Anakin underneath the Vader suit but if his limbs weren't decapitated, no Force powers or lightsaber, and he got to live beyond the age of 45. Nathan Jones is like Wong in MCU. It's always nice to see him. Nathan Jones is Aussie and he's almost used as comic relief as seen in Troy (2004) and The Protector (2005). He's like Donald Gibb who portrayed Ogre in the Revenge of the Nerds I and II. The Five Wives in Fury Road are all super hot. Courtney Eaton is the least known but she was super hot in Gods of Egypt, a film not a lot of people saw as it's pretty bad. Abbey Lee was the escort in Office Christmas Party. Hot. Nice boobs. She can fool for Ivanna Sakhno's sister (Shin Hati). Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was the chick who replaced Megan Fox in the third Iive action Transformers movie with Shia. Engaged to Jason Statham with two kids. Rosie looks like peak Cameron Diaz in The Mask (1994) but if she stayed pretty after that film. Riley Keough is Elvis' granddaughter and eldest child to the late Lisa Marie Presley. Another hottie. I like how she takes bold roles like in The Girlfriend Experience and isn't afraid to go nude. Riley made a film with Abbey again called Welcome the Stranger. And of course, Zoë Kravitz. Daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. Stepdaughter to Jason Momoa. Angel from X-Men: First Class and Catwoman in The Batman. But where she's super hot was in It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010). Another hot actress under 35 who isn't afraid of bold roles. My eldest cousin's (born in 1976) all-time favorite movie is Mad Max 2 with T2 and True Romance up there in his top 5. I watched Fury Road with my girlfriend in Baguio City, Philippines. Basically, the first weekend of release sometime in May 2015. Was a first time trip for my gf. We had such a great time over there. She loved it too. Fury Road is a top 5 fav film from 2015. I'll be there for Furiosa. I'm into dystopian films like that. Tupac and Dr. Dre's "California Love" music video was based on the Mad Max franchise. They're fun Aussie movies. The first scene alone in Fury Road was weird when Max stomped on a two-headed lizard 🦎 and ate it. A lot of action movies are the same. It's the type of movie franchise that can appeal to everyone: hot rodders, bikeriders, truck drivers, Republicans, Democrats, punks/cyberpunks, meth heads, metal heads, tattoo artists, boys, girls, gays, action fans, monster truck fans, Black people, white people, Asians, Aussies, etc. It looks niche but actually has universal appeal. Majority of Fury Road is all action. Getting chased around for like 90 minutes of the 120. Since Fury Road took almost 20 years in development, I don't think people are sick of the Mad Max franchise yet. It's not like there is a new Mad Max film every few years the way there is too much MCU, DCEU, and the Fast films. It will be 9 years after Fury Road once Furiosa comes out. I already put Furiosa in my top 5 for most anticipated films of 2024 when the strikes were still happening. I don't know if it's going to be as good as Fury Road as that's hard to top but I believe it's going to be a lot of fun. Hemsworth said filming Furiosa was the best experience he ever had. He is next to a fellow Aussie in George Miller. I think it's going to end up being Chris Hemsworth's best movie since Thor: Ragnarok. There are cool 😎 movies and there are badass movies. Fury Road is one of those rare movies that's both similar to Tombstone (1993) and True Romance (1993). It's so cool to watch and it still feels badass. this goes against the Mad Max lore/ movies, every mad max follows the same story, max enters a random scenario where he has to adapt and ends up saving the day, and every movie follows that same motif, this crap goes against that and is an insult to mad max fans for i guess this woke bs going on, hollywood can't create anything new. its just does remakes after remakes, and turning male characters into female ones for political reasons
