I also met Robert Englund at Oz Comic Con in 2016, but in Brisbane. Both him and Ken Kirzinger (Jason from Freddy vs Jason) were there. I had been a fan of the series for about 10 years at that point, so getting to meet him was literally a dream come true. I wrote him a fan letter and gave it to him during his autograph signing. I didn't bring anything to sign, but one of the Freddy photos he had at his signing table was also the cover of the Nightmare on Elm Street boxset that made me a fan in my mid teens, so I got that signed. He wrote, "To Jed, Sleep Kills". I also got to ask the first question at his Q&A on the Saturday, which was what his favourite Freddy makeup, to which he gave a detailed answer about the progression of Freddy's makeup throughout the series before admitting that the demon Freddy makeup from Freddy vs Jason was his favourite. I also got to meet Ken Kirzinger and got his autograph. He was super cool. His Q&A wasn't that big, so I got to ask a few questions, like what it was like working with Ronny Yu and the weigh-in press conference they did to promote FVJ.

Part 3 is spot on but, it looks oversized quite a bit! Alot of builders don't realize or ignore the fact of the true size and build them oversized! Unless someone wants it built to their hand size. They are supposed to be replica's of Roberts worn gloves. So, they should by default build them, correct size! Or, like i said, unless requested otherwise!

I met David Howard Thornton about 5 minutes from my house at a tiny horror convention in rural upstate NY. This was before Terrifier 2 was released and before Art the Clown became so so popular. My friends and I were able to talk with him at length with only a couple of people in line to meet him. His lines are hours long now and the character is only getting more popular. Happy to have met him without being rushed.

I met Skeet Ulrich two years ago at monsterpalooza and he was so nice, he asked me and my dad if we were enjoying the convention, he asked us how our day was and for me that interaction with him just solidified my love for him and every other person from the scream cast, I’ve only met Skeet so far but this year I have the opportunity to meet Lee Waddell which is awesome.

What an awesome video!!! So, I’m gonna make this as short as I can…. I was at a convention and Quinton Flinn ( voice of Speed Racer) was there!! When I was 8 (I’m 54 now) I wanted to marry Speed. So, I meet mister Flinn not knowing who he was. I did the ‘nice to meet you’ thing. As he walked away, my husband said he also voiced SR! I freaked out!!! I ran after him and apologized for not giving him the respect he deserved. We spoke briefly, I took a picture with him!💜 He was really nice, but I think I scared him, because he still won’t accept my friend request!🤣🤣 I’m sure he thought I was crazy.🤣🤣 It was the best day ever!!!!

One of my favorite experiences was meeting Gwendolyn Christie at star wars celebration last year. I have the biggest celeb crush on her; in an interview when she was doing Wednesday, she mentioned that was the first time she felt beautiful as an actress. When u went up, I brought that up, but added, I've thought you were beautiful since she did a vanity fair shoot for the last jedi, where she was helmetless. She appreciated the compliment and signed my Blu ray of the force awakens. I came away beaming from the brief meeting, she was so sweet.

So glad you recommended that documentary just watched it loved every minute of it. I still astounded at the 10 or so famous people I’ve met. Probably the most incredible thing that happened to me was when I met Tommy Morrison from Rocky V, the VHS of his old boxing matches I took to sign he actually borrowed of me because he’d never seen it before… meeting Steve Guttenberg was surreal also.

Got to meet Robert at a convention a few years ago - like you Chris, I felt like this was years in the making lol. I had a general admission ticket, and there was tons and tons of VIP. In combination with how Robert treats his fans and takes his time, the line was moving very slowly - didn't even get to meet him after an 7 hour wait in line. Anyways, stayed at the hotel an extra day, they number us from the day the before to get back into line. They even had to cut the line off where no fans on that last day could meet Robert (since it was so backed up). Anyways, that after noon on the last day, down to the wire, I got to meet him roughly an hour or so before the convention was over. Was a great time, he really took his time and made us feel special - just like you were saying in your video. Still have my glove signed, in a great shadow box displayed!

I met Robert at a con in Vegas. I had my own table and couldn't get out until close to closing. My family came to the con for fun, and I mentioned to my Mom that I wanted to get over there to meet Robert. She went to his table because they were wrapping up. He talked to her for several minutes and agreed to stick around because I was on my way. I got over there and Robert spent almost ten minutes talking to us. He even recommended some of his newer work that he encouraged us to check out. This horror legend not only talked to us collectively for like 15 minutes, but he stuck around after he had one foot pointed toward the door to do so. Truly a gentleman as well as an artist. I regretted holding him up, but the time he spent with me meant the world. I'll never forget it.

Ive gotten to meet Robert twice and both times have been nothing but great. The first time I was utterly shell shocked I don’t even think I was able to utter a full sentence other than a thank you for the photo op. The second time I was able to actually compose myself and speak to him briefly at his autograph table and he was just a great guy all around you can tell he really loves his fans and his work. I’d also like to meet him again as Freddy is my absolute favorite and the reason why I got into horror

People focus on the gay aspect, and it is there, but really this is the scariest and darkest Freddy got, I don't like him getting too cornball later, but I could tell even as a kid this was frightening, the way he tortures Jesse to the final confrontation at the steel mill, the atmosphere of this movie is great, a nasty mid eighties feeling.

My most special interaction was with Andrew Divoff of Wishmaster fame. A friend and I were lucky enough to pick him up from the airport for a con in 2021. He's one of the most humble, kind, and engaging people out there. And he was nice enough to give us some free merch, took us out for some beers during his lunch break, and we got dinner with him after the con ended. He didn't have to do any of that, and treated us like old friends. Superb guy

About 6 years ago now, I got to see Robert and a few other cast members from various elm street films at a panel here in my home city The panel was amazing and he answered loads of questions and such, unfortunately however I didn't get to talk to him and get an autograph at his table because the convention used a ticket system and it took that long to get to our coloured tickets that it was unfortunately too late to see him Panel was still amazing though and I'll always treasure that memory

Last summer I got to meet Alyson Court. For those who don't know Alyson Court is an actress who has done acting both in front of the camera and also provided voice work for animation and video games. Some examples of her work includes Loonette in The Big Comfy Couch, Lydia Deetz in the Animated Beetlejuice, and Claire Redfield in the Resident Evil games. I was nervous as hell, but got through the autograph signing and the photo op without making an ass of myself.

I got to meet bot Matthew Lillard and skeet Ulrich from scream a few times now but always have the best experiences with them. I was dressed as billy loomis, and walked up to Skeet. He looked up from signing autographs and got wide eyed as he said "wow! It's like I'm looking in a mirror 25 years ago!" Matt gave me shit for not cosplaying stu, but I asked him a very deep question, and he flipped the switch from the charismatic funny guy to the most sincere person as he answered. After our little chat he gave me the biggest hug even though I was covered in blood, and he thanked me for my question. Those two are the best! I still hope to meet robert one day.

I go to a UK Scifi and Fantasy Festival called SFW, and its on a holiday park where we stay for 3 days, and some guests stay there for the duration too. I do the meet and greet level each year to avoid queues and its like the speed dating you mentioned. Weve met some great actors, Brian Blessed is always a treat, as he will not shut up and move on when the organisers ask him too, he tells them to f*ck off and keeps telling hilarious stories. Just before brexit, Gil Gerrard (buck rogers) came to the event and we had a surreal chat about the common fisheries policy and its effect on the brexit vote, that will always stick with me, or James Cosmo talking about the Banking System and the adverts he does for RBS. Met dozens of bigger actors too, and its great to just chat with them and avoid the same questions they get a million times. George Takei was so happy when I asked him questions about Heroes instead of Star Trek, same with James Marsters about his music instead of Buffy.

Met Robert at a Texas Frightmare Weekend a few years ago. I waited 8 hours in line, and that was with a VIP ticket. He signed a glove I had made for the occasion, and I later had a photo op with him. It was a great interaction, but I think I was geeking so much, I don't have any memory of what was said between us. Hope to see him again sometime.

The only horror adjacent celebrity I got to meet was Matt Ryan. I grew up playing assassins creed and he was always my favourite character but then as I got older I started reading hellblazer and then Constantine’s more recent comic runs so when I eventually got around to watching arrow and then the Constantine show I was hooked. He became the character I read on the page. He brought him to life in a way I didn’t think possible and I jumped at the chance to meet him. The day of the con I had a panic attack and wasn’t feeling my best but went to meet him anyway. When I got up to him he saw I was shaking and put his arm around me and asked if I was okay and joked that he didn’t bite. Which helped make me feel okay. After I got the photo I went and got the photo signed and told him about my panic attack and he got up and gave me a hug. He was so sweet and spoke to me about how much he loved playing Edward kenway and how he didnt know how well he’d be able to do Constantine but he’s glad that people enjoy him. He was great
