Unbelievable that an advocate can argue in the manner Mpofu does, small wonder he has lost soo many cases. The examples he uses to illustrate his points are absurd to common sense. He clearly does not think things through.

This judge (Chili J) will be bogged down with multitudes of applications and ended up recusing himself...26/2/2024...my opinion this one.

Much as C/Court judge and legendary anti-apartheid activist once said, that he was amazed that Black African men perpetrated against others the very conduct they complained about against themselves, Dali seems to suggest that Downer's right to presumption of innocence in the private prosecution is not applicable in Zuma's prosecution and should be presumption of guilt to advance Zuma's case for Downer's partiality. Small.wonder Zuma court success rate under Dali is zero

In a recusal or removal application, the deed not to have materialized. Apprehension of possible bias due to previous conduct is enough. But of course the South African courts are no longer applying the law since the advent of the current administration. The DA and allied people, including Ramaphosa always get favourable court rulings

Mpofu's proposition about kissing democracy goodbye, is an absurdity in the context of JZ's State Capture antics, in particular capture of the judiciary and prosecution authorities.

What Dali diesnt realise is that his case/argument betrays the Stalingrad stratagem

I don't think you conversant with the law, it is for any aggrieved party to plead for the court to make a particular ruling. The court don't act without prayers before it!

Mpofu and his side-kick speaking audibly into the microphones is evidence of the lack of professional ethic.

Zuma's legal representatives need to read the Legal Practice Council's Code of Conduct, especially 57.9, 57.1

Yes I agree.....corrupt POS Zuma must be tried, found guilty, because he is, and thrown back into court.

All I can think is Zuma is being mulcted by these legal representatives

Especially insofar as Zuma kbew that the information would be made known and that eliminated its privacy, and further that such information was already in public domain from Concourt incarceration

Seems Zuma's counsel have forgotten about the judgements against Zuma's corruption and capture of the NPA

For him to go to court even when it was not necessary, his strategy was to have the audience to address. The crowd that would come because of racial issues some for tribal reasons.

Zuma and Dali have just in the closing laid bare their strategy of the private prosecution, I truly hope that Downer and Maughan who already have the benefit of a number of decisions related to the prospects of success of the private prosecution and the abuse thereof, bring a malicious prosecution action against Zuma and his legal representatives, because a legal representative cannot enjoy privilege when he is participating in an unlawful act.
