What do you guys think of the basement? 🤔

I think it was a nice house that was doctored up by people trying to save and earn extra money. ALWAYS a bad idea when you start breaking building codes in a newer property, and that place was littered with life threatening mistakes. I grew up poor, and this was nothing new to see for me. Unfortunately.

Nasty landlord. Probably charging them a fortune and not paying the mortgage. The basement looks like a death trap in a fire particularly.

Nice tour guys thanks for showing us around. That bathroom upstairs is hideous lol. What a mess to clean up. The basement what a hazard totally not legal to have a full kitchen with no exit and padlocked windows plus nothing in that basement was built with permit or to code. A lot of work there. Take care guys. 👍

When people come from other countries, they don’t understand the laws against renting spaces to other families and putting up those safety grates on egress windows! In case of fire, you’d never get out!

The basement is definitely illegal. I feel bad for the renters. Owner got greedy and lost it all. The tile bathroom is hideous, but easy to clean, just power wash it. 😂

Nice craftsman’s ship lol the not care lol kitchen is nice kitchen I believe is legal well at least here it is but the window does need to be accesss to get out!! Upstairs what the heck!!! Lol 😂 not a bad house!! The bared up windows hmmm. Wow that’s a lot of people living there wow the bathroom mafia style lol pink room!! Back yard is cluttered for sure

Ya we dont know much about legality here when it comes to secondary suites but it does look a little sketchy. Who knows but we definetly wanted to show it. Thanks for watching!

They have 30 days to pick up everything they want. They came back around 5-6 times total to grab belongings. The rest gets thrown out, given away or sold.

Is this in Ontario or BC?
