The youngest published author in Norway history...arranges her own music and writes her own songs...an artist who paints...plays piano, guitar, violin and flute...makes her own clothes and performs barefoot until every child has a pair of shoes (there's a story about that)....and just a genuine beautiful person....and best of all...she sings like no one else...the beauty in her voice is unmatched.

Angelina has the capacity to strip away the fluff and give us the pure essence of a song. She does this again and again. You're just scratching the surface of what she can do. Warning: You're going to be hooked.

I'm crying.

It’s not possible to say that someone is the best singer in the world because there are too many styles, personal preferences, and metrics for talent, but I can say without any reservation that there is no one I would rather listen to than Angelina. Her interpretation of lyrics, her involvement with the song, and that voice-it’s beautiful, emotive, resonant, and calming simultaneously. Other singers, like Dimash, have unmatched technical ability, range, and style, but there are no singers that I go back to everyday as I do with Angelina. Other singers perform, Angelina lives the lyrics like no one else. I just felt the emotion you did, and I’ve heard Bohemian Rhapsody more than one hundred times. And you’ve just scratched the surface, hard as that may be to believe. Angelina covers Ella Fitzgerald, James Brown, Adele, Any Winehouse, Screamin Jay Hawkins, Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra, Whitney, Willie Nelson... ... ... In many of of those, I like her version better, but in none of them does she disappoint. She takes on the greatest singers doing their best songs and gives a personal, original take that changes the game, but still pays homage to the original-just as she did here to Freddie Mercury and Queen. It’s hard to imagine where Angelina goes from here, but I’m along for the ride.

I’m 75, a widower why lives by myself, and Angelina is a part of my medication everyday. My social life has been decimated by COVID-19 and my health issues. I love watching reactors to her, as it is a way of sharing my enjoyment with others.

When she won the Norway's GT show she always sung barefoot, because one time when very small she met a kid that had no shoes and she gave her shoes to that kid, so that was why she sung barefoot. Very humble indeed!! I admire her so!!

The outfit is her grandmother's art work.Angelina is amazing in many ways.Is also an artist, arrangement of songs all her own,speaks 3 languages,plays 3 instrument, skipped several grades at school and is kind,wise and empathetic Her mother cried because she said at that moment she had lost her to the world.

Now that I've told you a little of how I feel about our Angelina (for I am incapable of fully articulating my emotions with mere words) I would like to post some background info about Angelina that I have compiled and keep handy in my notes. Angelina's father is a Swedish engineer and her uncle is her manager. Angelina regularly performs for children's charities and donated much of her 80,000 euros prize for NGT to charity and helped raise over 21 million euros in Germany for children's charities. Angelina always comports herself with grace, humility and respect for all including audience, fans and artists. Angelina is beautiful in every way God intended. I am a grizzled old sailor of 65 years and she melts my heart. Angelina is simply the best singer ever recorded. I adore her and thank God for sending His Angel to us.

She was just 9 when she imo created a masterpiece interpreting Screaming J Hawkins version of the song..You're welcome in advance )). On the subject of her mother crying during NGT she, when interviewed, said she was crying because she realised she'd lost her daughter to the world!

This was the "judges cuts" where the judges pare down those they had chosen to go thru from the first round of auditions to a workable number to continue. rotorhead1942 - I think you may be wrong on that; I think "Gloomy Sunday" was such a resounding success (plus the judges voted her through at that time, so why would she need to re-audition?) after it was posted to KZread, that there was instant demand for more. As a result, NGT then went back and posted her initial (no audience, acapella) real audition where they pared things down to a manageable number of acts for the first broadcast show.

If what you say were true, then you would have to accuse the judges of "faking" their astonishment during Gloomy Sunday, as they would have seen Angelina before doing this acapella performance. And why would they ask her name again before Gloomy Sunday, and ask her what she was going to do if they had seen her before? Notice here, they are reserved, with no comments. This was the judges cuts. It's not a re-audition. All the acts that they voted to advance from the "auditions" appear during the judges cuts, so the judges can narrow the field to a manageable number to advance to the semi-finals. It's done the same on every "Got Talent" franchise show worldwide.

This has been researched and discussed in great detail by Angelina fans. This research has shown (thanks to Kent Nielsen and Ole M) that her performance of "Gloomy Sunday" took place in Trondheim, Norway, on November 24th, 2013, and was her first performance for Norway's Got Talent. Her performance of "I'm a Fool to Want You" took place in Oslo on February 7th, 2014, and was her second performance for Norway's Got Talent. If you're looking for obvious physical evidence that her performance of IAFTWY took place later, you can see that her front teeth are clearly more developed in that performance than when she sang "Gloomy Sunday."

I'm not sure if I could think of a better two videos to demonstrate what a legit artist Angelina is. Whether it's 8 years old singing acapella or 13 singing on one of the biggest stages in the world, you can always hear her artistry... all those special little touches she puts in that make it uniquely Angelina. Hi Lukas, I have only discovered Angelina this afternoon, and I am totally blown away, her voice is the best I have ever heard in all my 70 years, I have been watching/listening for about 10-12 hours now. Of course there are so many great artists, and of course Freddie Mercury was one of the best, but right now Angelina is the best on the planet, her range, emotion, understanding of the lyrics, she's flawless imo, and I am no musician at all, but I love music and I know what my ears and heart are hearing and feeling, she has rekindled my love of music, I really appreciate your reaction videos too, giving your honest opinions and evaluation, and yes, she is still so incredibly beautiful, I just hope that the world doesn't destroy her

This performance was my introduction to Angelina. She started to sing this and wasn't thru 5 notes and I was crying. I still think it is as stunningly illogical performance as I've ever seen. I know kids can copy but come on a song like this and to not go off pitch, ever?!! I know adults that couldn't do this. I don't mean any adult, I mean those that can sing well enough to sing this song. Here this ragamuffin of a girl whose hair looks like it was combed with a Bull Dozier. She steps up cold and starts singing. She totally sings through her heart to our hearts. Now if I could ask for a gift, I would want the ability to speak or sing to the hearts of the many. But that my gift was only allowed to influence for the good or the eternal. Angelina has that already and so far so good, she is not growing up in a household like many American youngsters where one or more parent is missing. I'll stop there as I am not the one to be lecturing to anybody about raising children. So this was the second audition to go to the quarter-finals. The first audition was Gloomy Sunday also a Billie Holiday number. In this round you could accompany yourself with a guitar or Ukulele.

For a real treat type in Angelina Jordan Outdoor Concert- I sometimes just pull that up and listen her sing I think it's 14 songs outside in Norway, but it might be somewhere else. I don't think I will ever get tired of hearing her sing! She's one of a kind! I love her style- the way she sings, her humility, the way she presents herself, I wish her nothing but all that is good in life!

I've watched her perform Bohemian Rhapsody and Yellow Brick Road it seems like a million times, yet every time, the moment I hear that 1st note, I get instant goosebumps. I love watching other people react to hearing these for the first time and just seeing the awe and amazement take over them. She is 100% unique and just absolutely as lovely as can be. The way she sings each note, even as a small child, you can feel the emotion. Most professionally trained adults can't do exactly what she does. Every little thing about her is what makes her an amazing performer. Her voice, her raw emotion, her look, her charisma, personality, and shyness. Even the reason she is always barefoot on stage (at a young age, she met a homeless little girl who had no shoes so she gave her her own shoes and vowed to never wear them again while performing until all the children in the world had shoes) They all come together in a perfect little package and make her unlike anyone else.

Angelina is a song thief, and I love her that. I'm 60 years old. So I heard all of the songs that Angelina sings, as they were introduced new. Some that I'm surprised I can remember. What I love about her, is that she takes me back to those days, but then she adds more beauty to the songs that I loved by adding emotion that is true. No one can sing a song like Angelina Jordan. Why? Because she doesn't sing. She vocalizes love and emotion in a way that I have never witnessed before. She could sing the Barney song and bring tough men to tears. Man, I have a whole list beautiful classics I would love to hear this little angel cover, and I will guarantee, that if she did, those songs would belong to her forever more.

I think this is the tryout round. All the applicants are on the stage and several are eliminated. Gloomy Sunday is the first completion round. There are no other applicants on stage and she has background music.

@@wippletits WOW Kent, I've been trying to find info on NGT recording dates vs NGT broadcasting dates. All I found were news articles from March 10 & 11, stating "Gloomy Sunday" had just been aired/broadcasted. Knowing AJ sang "GS" at 7, and broadcasted when she was 8, got me to investigate for pre 1/10/2014 NGT recordings, with no luck. Were the judges' cuts actually recorded in February, as opposed to broadcasted? Looking for that moment when AJ's NGT performances were recorded after she became 8, if any. Trying to reconcile Angelina's comment on AGTC-2020 saying she was 7 when she won . Just curious.

@@wippletits Thanks for this information. I kind of figured Angelina didn't process the AGTC question fully in the moment, maybe due to being 1st time appearance on American TV/Audience and in front of Simon.

@@wippletits Hi Kent, how are you? We always seem to go to different sources 😊 I was curious too, after you questioned it earlier. While you went to TV2, I asked one of the judges (an acquaintance of my late husband). Yes, February is right, so the old, well used "two recorded at age 7, and two at age 8" among fans, can now be changed to 1-3. Stay safe, my friend 👍

Bohemian Rhapsody made me cry I love this version, she gives me goosebumps

Singing this first song a capella, with her beautiful Billie Holiday take on it, is still, more than 6 years later, something I cannot wrap my mind around. It is proof she was made to do this, made to entertain us for years and years to come. I keep saying how is this possible, but I have just learnt to accept and live with it. Thank you, Lukas, you are not so bad yourself 👍😊

You are so right. Those songs, as well as «Wicked game» and «Nothing breaks like a heart», are among the ones where Angelina’s covers are better than the originals. Considering she is 10-12 years at the time, that it insane...but still true.
