There 340 reactors who have discovered Angelina but you are the only one who has understood her uniqueness and the affect she has on people through her singing on a first reaction. Congratulations! Yes, she is was 13 at this performance. She became 14 on 10 January 2020 (and she is 6' in height). She has been singing publicly since the age of 7. One of the earliest videos is of her singing in a recording studio was at the age of 6. Believe me, there is no other singer like her. I am delighted that you have discovered the most talented and versatile singer living today. If you continue to react to her and I hope you do, you are in for hours of excellent performances and your life will be changed for ever I have listened to everything she has published on KZread and have often been surprised at her versatility - she can sing Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz,Pop, R&B and Soul, Rock and EDM - but never disappointed by her performance. Listening to Angelina perform is an emotional experience in itself. In an imaginative moment I likened Angelina to a chameleon. As a chameleon adapts its colour to blend with the surroundings, so Angelina adapts the "colour" of her voice to convey the emotions of the song and communicate those emotions to the listener. That innate ability to communicate emotions is something that other singers I have listened to fail to do. In the six years she has been singing publicly she has covered Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Priestly, Louis Armstrong and many others. It's really funny how you say that this is her big break. She has well over a BILLION views on KZread, literally thousands of reviews and reaction videos and she has toured all over the world and collaborated with international artists from many different genres. You may not have heard of her but believe me, the whole world is well aware of Angelina.

I recomend you to start a musical journey with her, with a large list of songs, since she was 7 y.o. and even younger. This will help you to know her origins and to understand why she has millions of followers worldwide. If you like jazz, you've found the right delivery medium. The earliest songs are mostly jazz classics. But her styling and vocal acuity color virtually everything she does. I'm 77 and so happy to have lived long enough to find this. AGT introduced me (and million more) and I've enjoyed every moment since.

It is the emotional impact of her voice. It hits you like a bag of cement of emotion. The way I put it is that Angelina has a gift for hearing these songs in a different way. I say she listens to the song taking it in, then she runs it through her Angelina-rator and out comes the song that is at once the old song you loved and a new song you have never heard before. Phil's plugged in important videos... I'd also recommend her Norway's Got Talent winning performance of both SUMMERTIME and GLOOMY SUNDAY, which are '20s and '30s jazz-club standards. Her vocal power and control, plus the STYLES that she sings is so vast - it's not so much range (although FEELING GOOD and, later her I HAVE NOTHING as a 13-year-old demonstrate her vocal range) - it's her power within song styles that is amazing. I'd also suggest a bit o' research on each song before going in.

she speak english so good, bec she has been going too english speaking schools..because of her fathers work, they have lived abroad..English is actually her 3.language, she speak first norwegian, persian ( her grand other is from Iran). and we in Norway learn english early in school, about from 6 years old.. Angelina has her own cover channel on youtube..she is a prodogy without a doubt..her parents have been holing her back, because of school.. they want her to live as normal as possible.. she will be HUGE.. the best singer ever!!! love from Norway 🇳🇴

I'm 65, and I think I've probably listened to this song 30 times or more through reactions, and I still get chills, and my eyes water and I'm pretty sure I have this weird smile on my face. Absolutely amazing talent. Your reaction is not unlike any others that i have seen. Everyone, including myself, is in awe of this girls vocal prowess. It took me 3 months to stop tearing up when I heard this song . Her voice just cuts to my soul.

Since we all hope you're going to listen to more of Angelina's work, you need to understand the first rule of listening to Angelina. There is no shame in tears. In fact, we regard with suspicion anyone that can sit through most of her songs without crying. She's done dozens of covers. When Angelina sings them you realize that while you've heard the original hundreds of times, you've never FELT the lyrics until now. Everyone else sings songs, Angelina sings emotions.

You haven’t herd more about Angelina because her mother and extended family unit are very protective of her childhood, so they pick and choose the projects she does, but she is already known world wide as you will soon realize as you continue down this road of Angelina Jordan. By the way she auditioned for Norway’s Got talent when she was 7, and she won with 46% of the vote when she was 8, and it’s only exploded since then.

I saw a video of her in 2016, I think. It was I put a spell on you” . Her bare feet. I know she was going to be tall. Her face showed that Mona Lisa/ish Smile. I was hooked by everting about her then. Just notice the little things of how she was with the music. Much more that she is today.

Angelina doesn't go on stage and put on a "performance". She opens a door to her soul and lets the song inside, she then delivers it to the audience through her voice, and a little bit of her soul comes along and touches our hearts as we listen to her.

Not long ago many of us called her "the song improver" but, though true, that misses the mark. Angelina is "the humanity improver". Our eyes need edges, contrasts in order to see. I guess the same is true of our hearts.

She is the Queen of music.

Angelina does have a voice that moves you! She is exceptional.

Your reaction is spot on. Everything. She hasn’t been hidden away so much as her family wants her to grow up normal free from the industry. They believe there is a time and place for her. It is getting near. She is only 14 at the moment. They try to keep her relevant . She has at least a hundred cover video starting as early as age 6. Enjoy!

Angelina IS already an established, well seasoned performer before AGT!! Our barefooted Princess of Soul, with a thousand voices, has capped another milestone in her journey to become Queen of Music with this AGT performance! Angelina has an innate ability to draw audiences in with any rendition of any songs she performs (she has well over 100 odd songs if I remember correctly) which are often equal to or better than the original artistes while paying homage to the composer and artistes alike. She has a compassionate and empathic soul and this is bourne out through the principles which she live by and her music. A rarity these days for one so young!

Yes, it’s her voice, definitely-but what you’ll see when you watch more of Angelina is that she lives the lyrics of whatever song she sings. Her heart is in every song-just like this one. And she sings in many styles and genres, but particularly jazz. She’s not a secret. There are millions and millions of views of her on KZread and in concerts. You need to watch some of her earlier performances. She is, in my opinion, one of the world’s best singers. Your emotional reaction to this, believe it or not, is not that unusual. She is a stunning performer who leaves the audience, and reviewers, without words.

Angelina has a way to take what her soul is feeling and then transposing her feelings on to our souls. The first two syllables of her first name says it all !!!.

A lot of people, like yourself, are disvovering Angelina Jordan Astar now through the AGT Champions. The AGT brand might be ill thought of and widely critiziced, but these shows are often the best way for young talents and unknown artists to showcase themselfes to a bigger audience, record labels and the important people within the music industri. AJ, although being a happy version of Cindarella, with a family that loves, protects and keeps her somewhat hidden until she's ready - would have made her way to the spotlight with or without NGT or AGT. Her own unpatience at only seven years, when she persuaded her mom, so that she could do what she loves the most in life - singing to all people, sent her in that direction. As I've followed AJ since her early NGT days and has seen all of her stuff, that being covers, originals, interviews or whatever I find, I'm a bit jelous of those who are just discovering AJ now. Without telling to much, I can say you've got a wonderful journey of catching-up to do.

Her rendition of "I Put a Spell on You" is a subtle hint that those who listen to her performances will be "Angelized," a permanent goosebump having reaction to many of her performances. It is a heavenly condition.

Like Per H , the best reaction and i've seen hundreds too and your comments are top notch and very sensitive. I cried to see your non-verbal expression. She's a revelation for me . I'm 67 years old , i have no children but i love her like she's mine. Her parent are very solid judgment and attitude with her , that will help her for the rest of her life. I hope so for the sanity of this world .

You can use teleconferencing software like Zoom to do reactions with your friend. In watching Angelina's performances, where she covers another artist, it is often helpful to watch the original first. This is especially true of her audition for Norway's Got Talent, where she sang Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday' -- watch the original and you'll see what a truly unusual song choice this was. Incidentally, if you watch the NGT performances, make sure you view a version with English subtitles.

now I'm writing after your reaction: your reaction is beautiful, very honest. Her mother is very protected of her. The mother is from Iran and the father from Sweden. She started singing at 1.5 years old and went soon after into Jazz. She slows down some songs and infuses them with a lot of feeling, and makes them a lot better. Makes you pay attention to the lyrics. I've seen grown men crying with other songs because they see an old soul on her. The members from Queen sent her a tweet congratulating Angelina for her performance. There are songs a lot more impressive than this one and you are totally adorable :)
