I am an admitted and confirmed Angelinaholic, for which there is no cure. I have heard and follow many great singers, but none of them have affected me as this little lady has. Eva Cassidy did, but she was much older. Angelina's voice is like a warm hug anytime she sings. Learning her background not only in music but the other things she has already accomplished, and her attitude have put her upon a pedestal that nobody else will ever reach.

You really really need to watch more of her stuff. She is an absolute phenom. A prodigy. Her voice is out of this world. Watch “I put a spell on you” - she was 9 in that performance and your jaw will be on the floor - guaranteed. She won Norway’s Got Talent at age 7 singing old Jazz standards from Billie Holliday. When Angelina was 6 years old she was on vacation in the middle east when she came across a little girl working as a street vendor trying to make money. She approached the girl and they spoke for a while. It was cold and Angelina noticed the girl had no shoes and had scars on her feet. The girl complimented Angelina on her shoes, so Angelina took off hers shoes and gave them to the girl. Angelina has vowed to never perform in public with shoes on until all of the worlds children can afford clothes and shoes. 7 years later and she is staying true to that vow. It takes a special type of person to do that. Angelina is a true phenomena. She has over 120 covers and several original songs on KZread. She will tailor her voice to the song she is singing, but always pours a ton of emotion and soul into everything she sings. I consider her the greatest vocalist of all time, and I do not make that claim lightly. I hope you continue on your Angelina Jordan, she will not disappoint.

What you did not say was that this was in Iran and that Angelina talked to the little girl in Farsi. Angelina speak Norwegian and Farsi and she sings in English and at least ones in Japanese. Not bad before she become a teenager.

What amazes me in this is that at age 6 Angelina knew she would be performing on stage. Yet she is very humble, seeming to accept her immense talent as a gift to be cherished and shared. I feel like she is one of my own.

That girl is super talented! She has a bright future ahead of her! Saying that, you should check out the original version of that song by Queen. One of the most famous rock bands of all time. Their music is sometimes very strange to say the least, but it is worth listening to. Trust me. They broke the mold in an era when nobody thought their type of music would sell. Incredible story and an incredible band!

I guess the mix up with her age winning Norway's got talent at seven or eight, is because AGT was recorded in fall 2019. At this time Angelina was 13 years old, so I guess she was told to say her age in NGT 2014 was seven, so it would fit the time scedule airing AGT in 2020 =)

But if that's the case, they could have just told her to say she was 14 because it was going to air after she turned 14. I think she just mixed up her ages when she _auditioned_ for NGT and when she _won_ it. If you haven't seen the "pre-interview" they did with her (not the one they aired, but one they did before that), the interviewer starts out by asking her, "You won _Norway's Got Talent_ when you were seven?" and she agrees. (I might not have the quote exactly correct… anyway, he's the one who suggested she was seven.) Then on the AGT stage she's asked how old she was and she says, "I was seven". An understandable mistake to make, I suppose, given that she probably doesn't care how old she was at an event almost 6 years in the past, as much as everyone else seems to. [grin]
