i am in my seventies and have seen and heard all of the greats both male and female. Angelina is, to me, the greatest of all male or female. I love Whitney, who recorded this song at age 28. Angelina is just turned 13 in this. Actually recorded when she was 12 i believe, and released just after she turned 13. There is no one that can compare to her. She is adorable.

As a musician, ( seventy years old, ) I've heard and accompanied a lot of singers. Jordan has an innate ability to immediately seduce the listener with her tone and expression. Her breathy control over vibrato and phrasing, the emotional depth of her lyrical interpretation are all extraordinary. I especially like how she targets her high notes as if she shoots an arrow to hit them dead center. She is truly gifted. A soulful singer. Brilliant!

She performed outdoors in Norway in December for the Nobel prize winners without shoes in 2014

Hi Shiloh, that was a real nice reaction. Oh by the way Angie is 13 in this video. Angie is very special. 1st of all God gave this girl so many gifts & talents that pro singers only dream of. She has the amazing skills of pitch perfect, tremolo, & her vibrato is liquid gold etc etc, she can sing in 4+ languages, english is her 3rd language, she'a a great a painter, she makes a lot of her own outfits you she on shows like AGT & in some concerts etc, She plays 4 instruments & is trying to learn a little Sax now. She has great grades especially math. When God wants to use someone & they let themself be used, well you see what can be done, & this is Angie just getting herself ready for when she makes an album. Oh yea she's been doing that this year 2020. She always been a perfectionist, but humble, respectful, patient, loving, kind, caring Christian girl etc to others. I think Diva's & others could learn a lot from her. To Angie, music isn't about showing one's self off but about telling the story & conveying that to the listener, but still being respectful to the original (hence her timbre, texture, phrasing etc). Angelina started listening to Jazz as an infant and probably in the womb. She is seen singing Whitney Houston at 18 months of age. At age five she ask her Mother to let her audition for AGT only to be told she is too young. At five she is speaking Norwegian, Persian and English. Excellent reaction. Good to see you wearing earphones. They certainly help. Just be aware that for a few of her songs that over the ear headphones are necessary for the best experience. It is a dark, desperate and passionate song, and over the ear headphones are a must to get the full emotional experience. Angelina has done several tribute videos. She covered "Wake Me Up" by her friend Aviici with a slowed down, very emotional version of the song. She did "Natural Woman" shortly after Aretha Franklin died. And she did a heart wrenching version of "Always On My Mind" after the death of her grandfather. Warning, get a box of tissues if you're going to watch that last one. I'm a 60 year old man and every time I see that video I end up in tears.

I don’t know what it is about her voice. Just about any song she sings makes me cry a good cry. Not many things in life does me . My heart is somehow in line with tone of her voice. The sound of her voice is so soothing and hypnotic that my mind goes to places in my past. Some memories are sorrowful and painful and just by listening to her angelic voice some how makes everything better and replaces them with joy and happiness. Voices like this only come once in a life time. God Bless You Angelina Jordan! Thank you for precious gift you have given the world with your songs.

Hi Shiloh I hope you were able to find your jaw on the floor and put it back on before you stepped on it LOL you will notice that 13 year old Angelina looks at the camera and smiles a lot she's thinking to herself watch this you critics who said I didn't have a very good vocal range there is a great vocal coach name Frank who evaluated this song with a piano in front of him he said the highest note that Angelina sang was an E flat 5 so I went and researched the highest note that Whitney Houston ever sang and it is a G5 so Angelina is only a few notes behind Whitney not bad for a 13 year old

I love crazy good voices. Joss Stone is someone you have to check out if you love a really soulful voice. Awright Christina Milian,i see you😍*hears a cute voice going "STOOOPID!"* Yes i am,im sorry🤣 Ever since i saw her open with Bohemian Rhapsody in AGT Champions,i have said "they should unleash her with Whitney Houston-I Have Nothing",as i think that wouldve won the American viewers over completely. With that said,i think Angelina not winning might have been the best option as Angelina is the best when she can be her own creative,passionate self. Winning talent shows automatically pulls in all theese other persons,trying to tell you what to make music of,what clothes and makeup you should use.....basically they try to make you into this fabricated pop babe. Now she has a really good exposure in front of her album drop,and can be her own boss like she has been since she barely could walk and talk. Angelina is the one that has pushed her parents to do more and more covers. But they try to protect her like responsible parents,so they have stomped theyr feet down on too dark,explicit lyric songs. One of the songs they refused for awhile was Back To Black by Amy Winehouse,but Angelina loved the song soo much she kept on pushing. So finally her parents were like "Okay you can do the song Angelina,but on 1 condition: You need to re-write the lyrics. What did this little cutie do? Angelina got KORK with her (a well known orchestra/band that has played alot on tv,and in various productions) And the lyrics? She improvised the lyrics...... My jaw dropped for the entire length of that song,as i happen to love Amy Winehouses voice and style of music. Angelina saw past Amys struggles and embraced her for her music,something more people should do,instead of judging her for her addiction. Amy developed depression etc from that addiction. Im sure Angelina understood early on,and she therefor embraces every compliment saying she looks abit like Amy,and even sound abit like her. Angelina is an angel ,thats for certain. And im confident she will grow into a legend,and a female artist that leads by example. What she is capable of looking past,focusing on the positive and showing love,respect and admiration allready now,far more people in this world should do after her,instead of judging and hating on. One day that might be yourself,and then youwish you had people around you with Angelinas abilities. Abilities you can easily teach yourself to be better at....it doesnt take alot.
