How is it possible? HOW?? A young child should not be able to sing like this with such wisdom and emotion. Even with a touch of nostalgia. Never mind the perfect pitch, vibrato, timing etc.

My first was her Gloomy Sunday on NGT, but this one is my all time favorite young Angelina video. This is the best rendition of this song I have ever heard. I've enjoyed this video hundreds of times and this song is on my Angelina playlist.

She takes every single word, every syllable, and sculpts it into a perfect musical expressive form. Few singers of any age can do that, and to do it at age 8 is genius.

I am 82 yrs.old, and a huge Billy Holiday fan for many years. I have heard many renditions of her songs. I am so overwhelmed by this child, words escape me, wonderful!

I too am 82. We didn’t get to this age by being stupid. I am color blind but saw in color when I was 19 and saw and heard Eric Dolphy. In the beginning god created jazz. OOOoooMMMmmm.

8 year old with the voice of a 28 year old and the seasoning of a 58 year old. Where do I buy the album? ALL of the current jazz singers (and I love them all) this girl kicks them all to the curb.

All I can do is smile.

She is spectacular no matter what. Ironically, for me, her voice at this young age has more maturity and gravitas, and tremendous appeal than it does now at age 18. She was in a sweet spot during these early years with remarkable renditions when covering. At 18, she's writing more of her own stuff, doing some pop-ish. Basically being a singer exploring this latest season of her gift. I look forward to seeing where she is in 10 years. Feels like now at 18 she is searching for her adult voice. Many of us, I suspect were doing that at 18 years of age in our respective worlds.

This young lady definitely has a career in singing.

Most people want to know why she does not wear shoes. She wears Shoes but not on STAGE. When she was six years old, she was in Asia and she met a young street seller girl. She had told Angelina and she had really nice shoes and Angelina had asked whether she wanted the shoes which she gladly did. Then Angelina had asked the girl what her dream was? The street seller had said she wanted to be a Doctor but doubted whether she could ever be. Then Angelina had told her that she should never give up hope. The girl told her that she will pray for Angelina and not to forget her and that's the reason she does not wear shoes on stage - to honour that street seller girl! What humility.
