I have watched this performance many,many times. I've seen and heard many versions of this great song. As a musician, I am in total amazement by this performance. How can one so young even understand this iconic song? Angelina's husky, raspy voice is a gift from above. And she is a gift to us Her singing brings joy into the world. ❤❤❤❤

High notes, low notes, irrelevant. She’s pitch perfect on EVERY song she sings. Perfect timing. One of the judges said “that voice sounds like it’s been drinking whiskey straight up for ten years.” 😁. I’ve watched over 100 performances and have never heard emotion travel on notes the way she commands. A gift to the world. And those around her have committed to ensuring she has an unspoiled childhood -amazing family with sterling priorities. Well done precious. 👍😁❤️

That year the whole Norway tuned in to watch a real Angel in their midst. Many children can sing teeny-boppy songs, but to sing moody old songs so beautifully like an old soul, and we're taken back to our own past listening to her, and we start crying because our hearts are touched...that's unique.

No one ever had a slightest chance that year to win after Angelina's first appearance.

There's a video on KZread where they are rehearsing this song and at 7 years old Angelina is giving Arrangement recommendations to the trumpet player

When I first heard her rendition of this classic it instantly brought images of LADYDAY in a smoke-filled room and a transfixed audience with mouths agape. This girl is so special! Her delivery is perfection, and the purity of tonality resonates with perfect pitch and phrasing. She is not imitating this song; she is reflecting how the song resonates from within, God has given us witness to the next vocal SUPERSTAR to grace our era. I am forever moved by this Heavenly Angel. Why not give the credit where it is really due ? Instead of to some supposed god that has never been proven actually exist . It's kind of a back handed compliment to say that the only reason a person has a special ability is because some so called god randomly picked them to be bestowed with a talent that's not real coming from them . Instead of coming from their own hard work and natural abilities . First prove a god exist before you start giving it the credit for other peoples achievements .

Yes, unfortunately, KZread shoves whatever it wants to the front of the queue. I guess some videos don't meet the algorithm requirements to be "suggested" while others are constantly repeated in the suggestion column. There is an Angelina reaction video done by Smylyface that is almost always in the column, and I can't get rid of Dimash suggestions to save my life, even thought I only watched him once, over a year ago.

Her Pitch and Timing is perfect on every performance, great and God Bless!

She said something about Angelina's nice shoes, and Angelina said please accept them I really want you to have them. She asked the girl what her life's dream was and the girl said she always dreamed of becoming a doctor but that would obviously be impossible. Angelina said no no never give up your dream. The girl asked her what her life's dream was and Angelina said she hoped to become a famous singer. Finally the girl said please remember me and Angelina said she would. Performing barefoot is her tribute to that homeless girl and all the kids in the world like her. So, I cried. What a kid! What a voice! What a heart! :) :) :)

I think the credit belongs to Angelina herself . Not to some so called god that has never been proven to exist . And if there is a god and it wanted to show off , it should try saving at least some of 50,000 some odd children that die every single day in total abject misery though no fault of there own . Most agree that her voice is beyond her years, and I doubt that her mother closed her eyes and concentrated really hard to have the womb form the vocal chords just so. Yes, Angelina deserves credit for the work that she does, and she receives plenty of it, but she didn't create her own voice, like she didn't create her own fingers or hair.

When God was giving out beautiful voices this girl was first in line. Simply amazing.

I notice some of these comments refer to her not hitting high notes or notes that aren't low enough. Well first of all, she's not an opera singer that needs to hit high notes and she's not a pop singer that needs to hit all those other crazy notes. she wants to be a jazz singer and the way she sings is absolutely perfect for jazz. Have you ever heard Billie holiday or any other jazz singer blasting out high notes like an opera singer?.... NO! and you never will!!!. If they did, they would be booed off the stage. If you want to here her sing high notes, you should hear her sing the full version of "I Who Have Nothing" It's as good as the original!! I know this girls voice is perfect for jazz, because I play jazz guitar!!
