Awesome reaction! Queen practically did any genre of music, from Motown to metal. They are a rock band, they do have a lot of hard rocking songs as well. Check out Innuendo, Princes Of The Universe, Ogre Battle - Queen live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1975, Headlong, Liar-Queen live at the Rainbow 1974, Stone Cold Crazy - Queen live at the Rainbow 1974, keep Yourself Alive - Queen live in Houston 1977, Father To Son - Queen live at the Rainbow 1974, Tie Your Mother Down - Queen live at Montreal 1981, Now I am Here - Queen live at Wembley 1986, Sheer Heart Attack - Queen live at the Bowl 1982, Hammer To Fall, The Great King Rat - Queen live at the Rainbow 1974 ext. ext. there are a lot of harder rocking songs from Queen. I Want It All basically just refers to the idea of following your dreams, and doing what you can to achieve your dreams.

"I Want It All" was composed by Brian May (Queen's lead guitarist) based on the catchphrase of his second wife, the actress, Anita Dobson: “I want it all and I want it now!”. It was recorded in March 1989. and Freddie's health was already quite bad when the video shooting took place. It was remarkable that it didn’t show up in the video, with Freddie performing with all the energy he had. The video also features Freddie’s first public appearance with a beard to hide the Kaposi's sarcoma marks on his jawline,

Great song and a killer song live. Freddie really kills the vocals on this song and Brian rips on the guitar. Brian wrote this song. The band is so tight on this song, thank you for your reaction. Roger poured beer on his drumhead to make those amazing splashes when he slapped the drum. The line "I want it all and I want it now" came from a very popular British actress friend of Brian's, who is now his wife. Brian invited her to a show and after the concert he asked her if she enjoyed the show. She was amazed at the fan love that the band was receiving and how the audience at one point was chanting Brian, Brian, Brian... and she said "I want it all, and I want it now." Those words rattled around in Brian's head for a bit and he then wrote this song.

Great reaction….love this song which was written by Brian May. According to Brian, it was inspired by his now-wife’s (she is an actress) comment after attending a Queen concert that she “wanted it all” and “wanted it now” referring to the crowd participation and reaction to Queen’s performance. For what is often considered to be some of the first thrash metal music consider reacting to Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow 1974 or if you want the studio version, it was on the Sheer Heart Attack album.

If you like this song you'll be happy with headlong, it's late or hammer to fall, as well. From hammer to fall there's an excellent live version from live at Wembley 1986.

This song is airing right now on tv for California tourism. One of Queen’s most passionate performances was White Queen at the Odeon Hammersmith, I think you would really love this.

HEYYYY HONEY, THANKS SO MUCH, for reacting to some more Queen & Freddie! This song is AWESOME, isn't it! It's mind boggling how much VARIETY there is in Queen's different song styles AND in the ways Freddie could alter the tone/texture/quality of his voice. Basically, 1970s Queen was Progressive Rock; they went into Stadium Rock in the 80s; then went a bit "back to their roots" in Freddie's later years, like this one. SUGGESTIONS: You said you wanted "EXCITING ROCKISH"? MUST. WATCH (right away!).... "STONE COLD CRAZY" LIVE 🤯 ALSO.... "LIAR" LIVE (That's a little different from this, but still ROCK) But PULEAZE, sometime also listen, to... "COOL CAT" (More of a "Motown" sound; you wouldn't even know it's Freddie!) AND AND AND... "FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS" LIVE AT MILTON KEYNES BOWL, 1982 (But only if you want to see Freddie at his FUN CRAZIEST and ummm... MOST FLEXIBLE) ONE MORE... "ACTION THIS DAY" LIVE ALSO AT MILTON KEYNES (An awesome DUET with Fred & drummer Roger Taylor, one of my TOP FAVs... Be sure to use one of the longer videos/NOT the short one, so you can see Fred FLIRTING with the audience!)

My favorite part of the song is Brian’s guitar solo 🎸 He wrote the song inspired by his conflicted feelings after the break-up with his first wife, Christine and the new relationship with girlfriend, Anita Dobson. “I want it all and I want it now” was Anita’s declaration to Brian! They married in 2000, and remain together ever since. 🏹💘

I think this track is more of Brian May's brainchild. He was the rocker/metalhead of the band. A huge Motörhead fan as well. Another of their more rockier tracks is One Vision. The official video for it shows some recording the track shenanigans :)

Freddie was getting sicker here and losing weight. That s why he is wearing looser clothes and a beard to cover the tumors on his face yet he gave it his all.
