I like your grown up comments about Angelina's age. It's like Angelina also is helping us by clothes and hairstyle; when we hear this beautiful song we shouldn't think of a young girl. Instead she is helping us to think of a woman of age and experience. Once when she sang "Shield" on the Swedish television she was asked how she could sing so at an age of twelve. "I don't feel like twelve" she answered sincerely.

She's doing someone else's song but making it her own. Like young painters who go to the museum and copy the masters. Not to make a copy but to learn how the masters did it. They say the good ones borrow but the great ones steal. You can tell she's showing respect for her peers by doing their songs in her own way but showing great respect for the original artist. She also seems to have a good idea of what sounds best when recording her performances. She's right on that mike without any pop filters like she's trying to capture every nuance in her voice. It takes mega breath control to close mike a vocal and not show any flaws or overpower the mike. So mature!

Angelina’s “A Million Years Ago” is my favorite cover of all time! A must watch.

But you are correct in that she is rather shy and vulnerable when interacting with others on a personal level. But on camera, nope 😁 She's a beautiful young lady inside and out. A lot of superlatives are coming here-this is definitely one of my favorite performances by the best singer I’ve ever heard. I’ve felt for several years that Angelina is the best interpreter of lyrics singing today, particularly on songs with melancholy themes like this one-and also with her staggering cover of Adele’s A Million Years Ago. I love Adele, but side by side, other singers sound one-dimensional next to Angelina. Here she lives the lyrics, giving us pure, clean, sustained notes along with vocal fry, texture, depth, and that raspy vibrato I’ve never heard from anyone else. It combines, at least for me, into pure vocal magic that mesmerizes. I can listen to Angelina all day, everyday. And I do listen to her everyday.

My doctor has advised me to stop listening to Angelina daily. Her vocal fry is sending my cholesterol numbers through the roof. I'm not stopping. I have a feeling Angelina's talent will get me high score.

I am a great fan too, I think that when Angelina cofers an old song, and gives her own spin to it, it's amazing !! When she sings Adelle, who is an amazing singer from this Era, just like Angelina. She is marvelous. A chameleon. As positive vs negative in visual arts she uses the positive and negative space around a notes. Her sweetness comes through when she sings. She doesn’t try to out do the original singer. She caresses.
