You can’t perfect perfection ! Please, Angelina, don’t change. As you grow older you will change beautifully. I ❤️everything I heard about you and your upbringing. Your mom and grandma and dad and little sister sound like a wonderful family. Please no blue eyes and lips that make you lisp as you sing.

My mother told me this reminded her of a form of jazz that she listened to back in the 30's and 40's which was called 'Swing'. Then, I ran across a song on Britain's Got Talent 2018, which was a personal arrangement of the famous song Seven Nation Army by an unknown named Aleksander Mileusciu. It had a very similar beat and vibe to this and when Simon commented on it he called it a 'Swing' version.

Angelina wrote it all! Music, lyrics, and directed lighting, effects and had that outfit made. Genius!

There are so many talented people in this world, but Angelina is gifted at a different level than most. While she has clear influences, she ALWAYS brings something new and interesting. I PRAY that she keeps it genuine and does not abandon singing "in her own world" (your words), to perform for anyone else. She's the type of talent that can lead us all down a whole new road. I just discovered Angelina Jordan about a week ago, and consequently, you as well, Lukas. Angelina Jordan is extraordinary, amazing, over-the-top fabulous-I want to hear her again and again. Your comments and reactions are wonderful as well. I much prefer your acute perceptions and educated ear to some reaction folks who, incredibly, seem unaware of The Beatles or Joni Mitchell or even Led Zeppelin. Bravo for this endeavor--so much more interesting and engaging than evil, heavy characters (e.g. Black List, Limitless) or even the indomitable Mr. Melk. You could probably do a good Hamlet, you know.

@@lukashasselNY Olivier was 40, Eileen Herlie as Gertrude was 29-what matters is the audience's suspension of disbelief, just as we (or I, speaking only for myself) suspend disbelief when Angelina Jordan sings "I'm a fool to love you" at age 7, and I don't care that she hasn't the life experience conveyed in the lyrics. Her artistry makes it just irrelevant. I don't ever see comments saying "It's just too unbelievable and weird for a child to be singing this." And yes, villainy is almost always often more complex and interesting than goodness, but are you typecast? Maybe it's not a concern. Work is work.

On rare occasion you come across a singer of genius. They just have it. That undefinable quality that comes so naturally. We have many many imitators around., But thats all they can do.. and then someone like Angelina comes along and stops us in our tracks... She is a delight to listen to. You just want to hear her sing again and again.... an extraordinary talent and a privilege to witness.

Jazz and Blues is Angelina's strength. I would love to hear her perform more of this genre. I thing she won't have to spent to much for a band, just a guitar or piano Her voice will carry the song. Loved it.

Eight years ago I told my husband and 3 sons..,.watch out for this young lady. She. Is the next genre of unique. She is the Amy Winehouse..Eva Cassidy... Elvis and Karen carpenter. For her singing is as easy as speaking as it was to them also. What a special young lady.
