Angelina's rendition of the Bohemian Rhapsody is now a classic. She does that with almost every song she sings, she did it here with Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and that is her brilliant instinctive input into the arrangement, no one else's. What a joy to have someone like her among us.

I'm so glad you finally discovered this awesome young lady. Angelina has sung all over the world for Nobel Laureates, heads of state, music icons, and other dignitaries. She has performed everywhere from small weddings of a few people, to London's O2 stadium with 40,000 people. She performs at jazz festivals, conferences, and charity benefits. At the age of 14, she is a seasoned performer with 8 years of recording and performing. Many of her live performances when she was 10, 11, and 12 years old blow away even the original adult performers of the songs she sings. She is definitely worth your time to experience and get to know. She was 7 in the first song, and she is 13 here. She gotcha, didn’t she? Now you’re hooked, but my favorite performance is her previous song for AGT-Bohemian Rhapsody. I’m sure you’ve heard it by now. She is in charge of her own arranging and has by now written many of her own songs and has been signed by Republic Records. She also plays several instruments, paints, and published her own book at age 7 or 8. Some call her a prodigy. I just call her amazing and a blessing to me!

Once upon a time there was music, then came Angelina Jordan. She puts the finishing touch to anything she things, to songs we'd previosuly thought were perfect.

Whoever requested this one, did you a big favor. Angelina Jordan is a real find.... but I think you figured that out in the first 15 seconds of her singing. You have so much more to hear from Angelina. Over 100 performances (and different songs) between these two performance. She has a great group of fans that will lead you to all the best stuff. You have just scratched the surface of the immense talent of Angelina Jordan. But Beware, the rabbit hole is deep with this one, and if you choose to enter, you won't emerge unchanged. I want to make a contribution to the Angelina fan community. For years I have followed our barefoot princess and tried (as a musician that I am) to give an answer to such a wonderful gift from God. What is different about Angie from all the singers I have listened to today or in the past? That question has intrigued me, objectively, personally, not by disparaging others or comparing them but to understand why it makes me feel a different auditory effect. Reading hundreds of comments one of them gave me an idea that rounded off after a comment on the video Angelina Jordan & Beyonce: "I'd Rather Go Blind" THE WORD THAT WOULD DEFINE ANGIE IS SPLENDOR, IT IS LIKE A MUSICAL LIGHT THAT ILLUMINATES, THE THE EFFECT THAT IT PRODUCES AT THE BEGINNING IS LIKE A "CANNON SHOT" OF LIGHT, THAT IS WHY MANY OF US HAVE BEEN SHOKED IN SONGS OR FEELING CHILLY. Many reactors when listening to so many singers continuously fail to perceive these sensations that we Angelina's angels feel by auditory frequency when listening frequently. I want to apologize in front of some fans of other singers, my intention was to understand why Angelina sounds so different from others and the word is SPLENDOR, SHE IS A LIGHT CANNON SHOT, ANGIE IS LIKE KING MIDAS, EVERYTHING YOU PLAY MAKES HIM IN GOLD, THINK OBJECTIVELY: EVERY FAMOUS MUSICIAN, Alan Walker, Quincy Jones, Mark Ronson, David Foster, Meek, James Blunt, Staffan William-Olsson, etc. EVERY PERSON LIKE US WHO HAS LISTENED TO IT HAS FEELED THAT IMPACT OF CANNON OF LIGHT. This girl does not need any record label. She is a phenomenon on her own and I really don't think they could do anything for her except compromise her purity. She is doing wonderfully on her own. Must have wonderful parents and family.

She chose the label Republic. She said they understood what she was doing with her music. She had offers from Disney, etc and others and she said no and not yet. She has a family whose focus is on supporting her. They always travel with her. I’ve seen a couple of times a man gets on stage and her mom is immediately on stage speaking to someone else who gets him off stage and away from Angelina. She has an incredible life experience behind her. Her family is multicultural and Angelina can already speak 3 or more languages: Norwegian, Farsi, Japanese, American, Swedish. She attended Waldorf school, a holistic way of learning and ideal for a creative person. I know Iranian is not a language but I don’t know if it is Arabic or another MidEastern language. The correct word is Farsi

I have read she has a recording studio in her home. She now resides in LA, USA. A record label gives her publicity and maybe a bit of finesse without changing her fundamental sound. They can also do video but so far i love the smokey lighting in her studio videos. I feel sure she has maintained creative control.

I don’t know where to cite but I read a producer who said there are three artists who can record a song in one tale …. Beyonce, Sam Smith and Angelina Jordan. I think all three are signed with Republic, well at least Angelina is.

I don't care about first tier celebrity opinions, let alone the observations of this junior varsity crew. Accomplished singers are another matter, however..Angelina's talent was too good to be judged here, but she needed the exposure to advance her career. She's world class, and as a person, as well.

@@103mrg there is a wonderful phenomena going on around the internet lately where people acknowledge when they are wrong which is unheard of on the internet especially KZread Everyone's an expert and no one wants to admit when they're wrong but that seems to be changing all of a sudden I found myself thanking people for correcting me and I was bit that I have a problem with doing that at times but lately not so much it's just a good thing when you learn something new and if you can be humble enough to admit when you're wrong your options are Limitless thank you for that input I learned something to. I did not even know that she had lost the competition because I don't follow America's Got Talent I didn't even know there was a champion version of the show I didn't even know if it was still on the air for chrissakes because I got really tired of the whole drama of it I got tired of talented homely people being cast aside by the world it's very disheartening. Some of the greatest singers of all time have not been great Lookers Billie Holiday Ella Fitzgerald for Christ's sake the most unbelievable pipes on the planet that has ever lived excetera excetera on and on and on. At the age of seven, Angelina auditioned for Norway’s Got Talent performing Billie Holiday’s Gloomy Sunday. She won the competition with the show drawing record TV audiences. Not surprisingly, throughout her rising career, Angelina has featured in prominent media outlets including TIME, CNN, BBC, and People while also performing on the U.S. network TV shows Little Big Shots and The View. In 2016, Avicii chose Angelina for the vocals on his worldwide Volvo commercial campaign, a brilliant cover of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good. As well as singing before Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, charitable causes to which Angelina has given her talent include the Rainforest Alliance at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and Ein Herz für Kinder in Berlin where she helped raise over 21 Million Euros for children and families in need. Everyone in the music industry knows who she is, but the family and herself want her to grow up as normal as possible. Among other things, they said no to Disney! This multi-talented singing prodigy has also written a successful, illustrated children’s book in her native Norway making Angelina the youngest published author in the country’s history. Today she is 14 years old and has over 126 covers and 3 originals on KZread. She has already managed to collaborate with the biggest in the music industry, and is considered to be a future megarstar.The family and herself want to take it easy in the musical development because of her young age. You will be inundated with comments about Angelina, but here’s my take-pure and simple. I’ve been listening to music since the 1950’s. No singer has ever captivated me like Angelina-no one even close. You’ll see that although she has a special affinity for jazz and the vocal freedom it allows, she just kills songs in many different genres. She adapts her voice, her style, her timbre to whatever song she chooses. You’re right: every song she sings you will remember as hers. Her vocal toolbox is seemingly limitless. And at the center of it all is that slightly raspy, soulful, resonant voice that grabs you immediately at the first note. You may not believe all of this, but you will after just a couple more songs. You’ll get dozens of suggestions for your next reaction. All of them will amaze you, but I believe Angelina is at her best with just a simple acoustic guitar so that you can hear that voice full throttle. Her version of “Stay” is absolutely stunning. Don’t worry about not liking kid singers. That term never applied to Angelina.

Yes, that "slightly raspy, soulful, resonant voice." The "resonant," so true - she'll play around on a note, but when the moment is right - perfectly pure. One example is literally the word "true," in Fly Me to the Moon.

Angelina Jordan was born January 10th 2006. She is 14 now. The first song was performed in the Spring of 2014 when she was 8. The second was recorded late 2019 when she was 13. It was shown on TV February 2020. Angelina has done over 130 covers of different genres in addition to a handful of originals. She usually does the arrangement of covers herself. She can adapt to any genre and belt when needed to and also sing very deep. I'm sure Rusty Shackleford will post here a resume of her singing life so far with lots of links. You have a lot of memorable moments to look forward to. I have yet to listen to a disappointing performance by her. She is like a chameleon who can adapt her singing style to any kind of song. So she surprises us all the time. Always performing at her very best. She is becoming a legend and we are blessed being able to follow her on this amazing trip to stardom. Might be my favorite Angelina reaction of the many 100s I've watched. Could sense your knowledge of voice and see honest emotion. I, on the other hand, am so musically ignorant, but have been captivated by her voice, talent, and artistry. @@matheusfranca654 Actually this is a lot different than the Sarah B version. Sarah uses a hard "belting" voice much more, rapidly wears out its welcome. Angelina has added negative space, softer tone, reverse vibrato, and her trademark gorgeous melismas. Overall the effect is a tremendous improvement.

Seriously.... The piano intro, the entire structure of the melody, the high take on the last "horny back toad" are exactly the Sarah Bareilles version. Yes, Angelina brings herself and her uniqueness to this.... More melismas, indeed. But the difference between this version and Sarah's version is much much closer than the difference between Sarah's and the original.

@Bard Erland Her grandmother is an influence on her and recorded a lot of video footage. Many grandmothers do that. She was still born with platinum vocal chords and an attention to musical detail. If you aren't born with something to begin with all the tiger moms in the world won't get you to this level.

@Bard Erland I was tempted to pile on, but restrained myself. I think you're take on AJ's Grandmother is cynical at best, which would tend to bring out a lot of defensive replies. Perhaps you may consider her relationship is more of a mentor than a frustrated old disciplinarian. Introducing her Granddaughter to Jazz and many of the old classics at an early age was a big influence on Angelina, obviously. But to say she has the ability to teach her the skills to arrange and perform songs the way she does, and then criticize her for it is a bit much. Peace.

I am another who agrees that watching Lukas' face as Angelina sang 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' was a joy to behold. Sheer rapture at her beautiful sound.

Lukas, thank you for your discovery of Angelina and for the wonderful reaction, I sincerely hope to be able to see you again with Angelina, it is really worth the journey to discover her. All the other fans have given you all the possible information about her, starting with the legendary Rusty. I just want to testify my reaction, listening to you and listening to Angelina today, you were the first. I've been listening to Angelina for about 6 years, but this week on vacation I was without internet connection, I only came back today and I was overwhelmed by the dozens of reactions to Angelina, some even wonderful ... but the thing that amazed me was mine feelings. After a week without her voice, I had a crazy reaction, the songs I had listened to dozens, if not hundreds of times still moved me to the point of taking my breath away, while I felt overwhelmed by the emotion of listening to her and seeing her at the same time the effect she had on the reactors. That little girl is absolutely impossible to describe, she's incredible but when you listen to her again, after a break without her voice it's really like finally savoring the real taste of music.

Just Maria That is spot on! Angelina Jordan is fantastic, and I was looking for the first time you met Angelina... your reaction is lovely! Please also react to Alma Deutscher who I consider in the top with Angelina in terms of musical ability, profound creativity, joyous expression, and desire to bring all that as a loving gift and inspiration to humanity. While Angelina has her amazing unique voice, and ability to so humbly and respectfully improve on others songs as well as create her own, Alma works in classical music as a composer, violinist, and pianist extraordinaire. Both have been thought to be reincarnated from previous greats. Each is her own wondrous person and artist in her own right.

Definitely that she has a wonderful voice when you listen to her sing you don't want to stop listening to her, she has her own tone of voice, so far I have not listened to anyone like her, when you hear her you realize that she is simple, kind and sweet person. Speaking of another singer who also impressed me is Kodi Lee, I know you say you don't like to listen to or see for example America Got Talen very much, but if you have the opportunity to listen to him he is special and unique in her style.
