My name is James Aubrey IV and I just recently graduated college from Iowa State University. After college I decided to take a leap of faith. So I moved to San Diego California to pursue my passion for videography/ KZread. Overall I'm a pretty chill person, outside of KZread I like to longboard, dance, play video games, lift weights and hangout with my friends. What is the Rome Life ? And What does it mean to be apart of it?
Rome Life is something I started during my Sophomore year of high school (one of the worst times in my life) it started off as me documenting my journey to recovery from my shoulder surgery but eventually it turned into a platform that I could use to encourage myself as well as others to chase our dreams.
Rome Life isn't just a saying it's a way of life and for the people who want to be apart of it have to realize that. Rome wasn't built in a day it took a lot of handwork time and most importantly patience. So you can't expect your dreams to be any different

Totally agree, The pyrotechnics are amazing but don't detract from the music, they actually enhance it
The best show on planet earth. This band sings in German and they are in France. The fans know all the words and what the songs mean. This is an example of music unifying people.
I'm german. Saw them live two times. Liveshows are such a blast. Imho in terms of fireworks and coordination nothing on this planet can beat this. Most lyrics are deep, heavy and/or dark. Till is a poet in a wrestler's body.

@@Tacklebarry85 Ja mein Freund, seit dem die Videos von Rammstein nicht mehr blockiert sind, springen gerade die Amis auf diesen reaction hype. Das garantiert ihnen sehr viel Aufmerksamkeit. Sollen sie auch machen, mich stört nur eines daran, ihre oft nicht erlernbare Aussprache. Wir brechen uns hier alle einen ab, die Namen korrekt in englischer Aussprache rüber zu bringen und die machen sich einen Scheiß daraus. Obwohl "Rammstein" als Wort und Aussprache in einigen Lieder ja vorkommt.

Their shows are nodoubt fucking mental, but honestly you ever seen a DefQon1 endshow/closing ritual? that's if not better, atleast AS good. Very diffrent types of music though, so I can't imagine the overlap of fans is massive haha

the dude on the treadmill was Flake, and another fun fact, an incident in 1996, which caused part of their stage set to burn, the singer Till got certified in pyrotechnics so he could continue doing it more, much more safely

There is a interview with flake, where he tells, when they had there first gig at a boring Buisness meeting, which went over 5 days or so, they did not want to play anymore after the second night, but the manager made them! So they went into the dinning Hall, where they would play later, and they put petrol on the floor, as they started playing, till started to lit the floor and they where shocked how quickly everything was on fire🤣😂 but from this moment they had the growd on their side 🔥🔥 That was when till started to get his pyro licence 😅💪 Lucky for us now🍀🍀🤣😎🔥

The lead singer said in an interview. "You listen to music on the radio, you go to a concert to see a show. I will give you a show."
The singers name is Till Lindemann. He has an extremely unique voice.
All I can say is “Welcome”. Welcome to the Beginning.
I ADORE Rammstein. Oh yeah, and by now you'll know: the lead singer Till is also a certified pyrotechnician, hahaha

Their performance is a masterclass in crowd control.
In addition to their skill as a band they have kept the original lineup for over 25 years. That is like totally unheard of anymore. I watched an interview with Til one time in which the journalist asked why all the pyrotechnics. Essentially as Til put it 1) they are fun as hell to do and see & 2) they have a world wide audience/fan base so the stage theatrics help fans follow along on the songs despite the language barrier. Plus so many of their songs have puns included in the lyrics which I find adds a dash of sly humor to some epic songs.
"What did I just watch?" ....you just saw an taste of what Rammstein always brings to the table.

Rammstein is a German industrial metal band formed in 1994 in Berlin. Rammstein members are: Vocialist: Till Lindemann Lead Guitarist: Richard Z. Kruspe Rhythm Guitarist: Paul Landers Bassist: Oliver "Ollie" Riedel Drums: Christoph "Doom" Schneider Keyboardist: Christian "Flake" Lorenz (Pronounced Flak-eh). They've never had a lineup change in their existence(member change). They've been the same band since they formed. And they are one of the best live bands of all time (Top 3 in my opinion)

I've watched a dozen reactions to this, just to see the expression after the Fireworks explosion. It's always excited headbanging before, and shocked jaw dropped silence after the firework^^
When we first heard this, all we had was the music - and we still reacted about the same as you. Rammstein is the exact answer you'd get to the question "What would an extreme Metal band from Germany sound like?" I have an ex-girlfriend who describes Till Lindeman as "the most masculine voice in Metal", and she's not wrong. Their shows are epic, as you saw from just this one song.

I recomend blind guardian, they are what I consider the best german band. For a similar feeling of power or impact as Rammstien, listen to Sabbaton.

Great reaction! Always enjoy watching people react to Rammstein. Till Lindemann was a competitive swimmer in his youth, so would have developed great lungs. That, together with his size must give him a powerful set of pipes.

It's so, so funny to see the reaction of someone who never heard from Rammstein or listened to a song of them. The live shows are amazing and that's a German band doing this all over the world.
This song is a play on words in the German language. The words "du hast" in German means "you have". Now the words "du hasst" in German means "you hate". The song is about not committing to a relationship/marriage. The song starts out saying "Du hast, Du hast mich" which translates to "you have, you have me", but later in the song says "You asked and I did not say anything. Do you want until death do us part, to be faithful for all days?" to which the reply is "nein" which means "no". From that point on, "Du hasst, du hasst mich", meaning "you hate, you hate me" is what is inferred. BTW, you will hear the word "bitte" being said in a female voice, and that is the German word for "please", to which, again, the reply is "nein" (no).

Growing up in this era I am glad about 2 things about this band. #1 They are still going strong since the 90s with all original members and I was there knocking heads in the mosh pit. #2 now that I am 47 seeing them live with many my age, no more mosh pits.

RAMMSTEIN isn't just any metal band. RAMMSTEIN is an incredible masterpiece of a stage show created made in Germany. It's a fantastic musical artwork!
No one EVER reacts to SPIELUHR by Rammstein (pronounced rahmstine), which is about a child whose heart is so broken he no longer wants to live, it's so absolutely beautiful and the keys are magical. Anyone would agree it's a solid choice AND you'd be ahead of the game cause everyone's missing this masterpiece.

I've suggested Rammstein to all 3 of my favorite reaction channels and I'm so glad you're doing this!! Rammstein is named after huge US military base in Germany. They are electrifying and terrifying. Till Lindemann the "beast-man" singer, was in training for the East German Olympic swim team when Germany reunited. In his quiet times, he weaves baskets.Please do more Rammstein!

Rammstein is particularly known for their Pyrotechnics. When they come to Denver they perform at the ALL concrete arena, so they can do the full pyro show. Rammstein is a German Industrial Rock group. The lead singer Til Lindemann is a natural baritone who also sings tenor. They have a full catalog of songs that cover from ballads to club to the full heavy metal type. Wunderbar!

I LOVED your reaction! I've seen Rammstein three times, and it is ALWAYS like this. Always.
The action with the fireworks didn't even take place in a stadium, but in a hall ( Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy ), which would be unthinkable in America due to their immense safety regulations. If they go on tour there, the fans there miss out on a lot. Rammstein are a weapon live and the incredible crowd control is a trademark of them and no matter in which country they play, the audience sings in German like in Paris.🆒. By the way Til does this specific move cause he had dislocated his knee before a concert and repeatedly hit it in the backstage area to bring it back in. The other band members found this movement totally cool so that he adopted it for the stage ! Apart from the fact that Til is a trained pyrotechnician, at Rammstein concerts a special stage worker is very close to the stage and is connected by a microphone to the person who controls the fire. He feels the temperature on his cheek and gives corresponding instructions whether you can still step it up a notch or the flames have to be reduced. A political statement for the refugees who have drowned by the thousands in the Mediterranean Sea. Rammstein was the Headliner and there are more than 85000 fans on the target line and I was right in the middle 😜 😉 and not only the few thousand hardcore fans directly in front of the stage answer Til's questions, but actually the entire audience down to the last row - INCREDIBLE 👍 ! At some point Ramstein discovered that you can make up with instant coffee. According to concentration, black to red spots appear, which looks like dirt or blood. Flake was hyper nervous all the time during an earlier tour. What did he forget ? Again and again he is only moved into the nerd corner and underestimated enormously. What most people remember is only the treadmill he is running on while playing. Most of the Rammstein pieces are backed by a mostly inconspicuous but sometimes bombastically symphonic sound body combined with techno elements and so much more. It´s done so cleverly that it is hardly noticeable in the foreground. But if you take it out of the equation and mix it away at the mixer console, the rest sounds almost like any metal band. Together with the typical Rammstein monster guitar riffs the keyboards in the background fill up the entire sound, make things round, and not at least because of this Rammstein sound so unique.
