OMG. This was one of the best Rammstien reactions I have ever seen and I have seen 100's. Fake blood but band members are coated in slippery anti-fire gel to protect them. I have been a fan for 25 years so forgot what a shock first time watching can be. Would you believe me if I told you the lead singer is stage fright? The keyboardist prefers the treadmill, because he can't stand still and has actually tripped his fellow band members before. Is Till bleeding? Probably. He has no problem with pain. What Till and everyone else is covered with is fire-protective gel. Three rows at the front are called hot seats. And yes, you saw that correctly. The stage was blasted with fireworks. Make sure you do the live performance of Feuer Frei if you want to see them blow fire. =} It is VERY incredible that French people are singing in German. If you know anything about WWII, you'd know that, too. The lighting effect on the keyboard was actually added for the DVD.

The fireworks are on wires to guide them. Still bloody spectacular. Close to the stage is insanely warm.

Rammstein fans....are hardcore. Some of them want the hot seats and consider it an honor to get a little singed. Yes, Flake was on a treadmill....dude has a serious inability to hold still. That treadmill is the first thing people comment on and it's like....that's the most normal thing this band does. Awesome metal! But yeah.....you may say a concert is fire....Rammstein fans MEAN it.

In 2010 I stood in the fire zone at three concerts, from the third to maybe the sixth row. But I was a head taller than the people around me, so the fire came in waves over me and I got a really nice grill.

Rammstein put on one HELL of a show. They put it out there for the fans. Everything is coordinated down to every little detail. I do recommend a few other of their live videos because they will be blow your mind.

From m what I understand is that the lead singer is a pyrotechnics expert and so what you saw on him and the band was pyrotechnics jelly.

I could talk for hours about Rammstein, but I will say just one thing - they are the best band in the world (to me, at least) and definitely the best live band in the world. If you want to hear how to pronounce their name go for "Rammlied" (live). But I also recommend "Ich tu dir weh" or "Engel" for more crazy stage stuff, or some of their official videos (which are insane too) like "Deutschland" (if you want a similar vibe as "Du hast" or "Zeit" (if you want something completely different and very emotional). But I would recommend to react to the videos from "educatedmarine" and "bucksttabu" channels because there are all of their official videos, live performances and other songs with lyrics. Actually, for most Rammstein songs lyrics are essential. They are usually very deep, poetic, metaphorical and with multiple meanings. Yes, they can be controversial, they push the boundaries and they are certainly dark, but they talk about real stuff and most often make you think. Great reaction, btw. First of all, all band members are trained in phyrotechnics and the singer, Till Lindemann, has the highest possible license in phyrotechnics, he is allowed to develop the effects himself. So the band knows what they are doing, for safety reasons everyone is covered in anti-fire gel. That's not blood you see, in the previous song Till spilled coffee on his arms, so it just looks like that. Seeing the band live is just awesome!! Oh, getting a ticket to a live Ramstein concert is difficult. As soon as the tour dates come out and ordering is possible, they are already sold out. The cards go away, you can't see that quickly!! But as you have seen, this band is a must see live!!

You pronounced it correctly the very first time you spoke the name. Rammstein was named after the Ramstein American Air Base located in Germany, but the *secondary* translation of Ramstein is "ramming stone". The "blood" on Till's arm is fake and is leftover from two songs earlier in the concert, titled Mein Teil, where he has an extensive amount of fake blood on his face and arms. Some day, after you have fully recovered from this performance, you should watch Mein Teil - it is based on a true story! The lead singer is a pyrotechnics expert and is licensed. That said - some of the "effects" was post-production for the video - like the electricity and the color/magnitude of the explosion. Just to exaggerate a bit. BUT most of it is real and very amazing to see. This is one of the bands on my list of 3 I really want to see live. Another one with a jaw-dropping performance and theatrics: Nightwish "Ghost Love Score" Live in Wacken, Germany 2013. I guarantee that will be another one you flip out over!!!

The Director is Jonas Åkerlund and he's worked with them few times prior (and actually has also directed Ich tu dir weh) as he's worked with Madonna Lady GaGa and others... Till doesn't play when it comes to fire and they have done way crazier shit in past live shows. This is actually tame compered to them having iron masks with a flamethrower attached!!!! Also Till is a masochist or has an extremely high pain threshhold because has done crazy shit to himself for videos. In Ich tu dir weh he wanted to have light coming through his mouth but when everyone told him to use a flesh colored cord he went and actually pierced his damn cheeck and he put the wire there and he also kept that for a while during their tour!

I've seen Rammstein one week ago, in Padova. The best concert of my life, and I have seen about 1500 concerts in my life. Till have sing " Rammlied" with a light in his mouth🤯. What a concert,what the incredibile,insane, mastodontic show! The best band in the world! ❤️

afaik he wanted to keep that wire for the entire tour but they advised him not to because it can/will cause infections so he went with the tamer option instead that doesn't have him pierce his cheek before every show

@@nunpho well, far as I know they still can't perform it..unless it's been allowed recently, Till and Flake were arrested for it back in the late '90's in Worcester, Massachusetts, Fined $200 and spent a night in the slammer..been back since with Till thanking them for not arresting him this time lol

The blood on Till's left arm was make-up and the lightnings coming off Flake's fingers was post cgi - everything else was real. Their live performances in Madison Square garden are legend!

BTW they recently finished Norht American Stadium Tour in Oct of 2022, the tour was postponed from 2020 and 2021 because of the pandemic, but they were finally able to do the long awaited tour, they played 9 cities from Aug 21 to Oct 4 starting with one show in Montreal Canada, then onto the US where they played 7 cities(Minneapolis, P:hiladelphia, Chicago, East Rutherford, Foxborough, San Antonia and two shows In Los Angeles), the Tour finished up in Mexico where they played 3 shows 10/1,10/2 and 10/4, I went to the Minneapolis show in Aug and to the second (add on)show in Los Angeles, I've been a fan for about 25 years, besides seeing them twice last year I've been lucky enough to have seen them several other times over the past decade, if 2022 is the last year they ever come to the states it'll be really sad, but I'm extremely grateful that I've been able to see them live once in my life let alone 6 times, who knows maybe someday I'll be able to afford to see them perform in Europe, in the meantime I've have my memories, okay enough babbling on, I really did enjoy your reaction, it was one of the most genuine and authentic reactions I've seen in a long time. can't wait to see what you're next R+ reaction is going to be, Have an awesome day!

You made the same face I did the first time I saw this performance. Next watch Engle, live at Madison Square Garden. It's worth digging into the translations of the lyrics at some point too - not this one as much, but Till is an accomplished poet, and it shows.

He logs up to 17 km per show. It red is fire retardant gel and the lead singer has a pyrotechnics license.

Ram-shtain. Just listen to Rammlied (live at MSG) if you wanna hear it pronounced and watch incredible performance. Without a doubt, one of the best live performers ever. For live performances I'd suggest Rammlied, Mein Teil, Ich Will, Links 234, Feuer Frei, Sonne or anything from Volkerball, MSG, Hellfest, Rock am Ring, live in Paris. As for music videos - all of them are an art form, especially the newest ones like Deutchland and Adieu, which are full scale movie productions. Fair warning - read up on the songs before you listen, as they always have double meanings and real life inspired backstories.

Welcome to the most spectacular live band in the world! You will love each and every live video out there, but don't neglect their official videos because they are Hollywood movie standard. Check out 'Ich Will', 'Deutschland', 'Angst', 'Mein Herz Brenn't and 'Zeit' for starters, but they're all amazing. Oh, and don't stress about it, but just so you know, Rammstein rhymes with Albert Einstein (unless you call him Albert Eeensteen, in which case forget about it)

that you just saw, it was my 1st concert of rammstein (i was there, it was just awesome !!!!) and i think i just did the same face, but i haven't the time to pause because the song continue :D since i saw them in 2019-2022(x2) and soon in july (in feuerzone) best show ever for me the flares are on a wire so it's controlled and in europe, Till shot front the public but in USA last year, he shot back to the public, to the stage (maybe a US security ?) if you have thez opportunity, get a ticket for the next tour, you won't regret it

I almost never react on reaction video's of my favorite band. But now, I have to. Your face was absolutely hilarious during your video. By the way: you've pronounced the bands name perfectly the first time you said it. It translates to "ramming stone" in English. I first saw them during a Hard Rock Festival in Eindhoven (the Netherlands) in 1998. After that, I'm a fan. I've been to 5 concerts (and believe me, it's really difficult to get tickets. They sell out in minutes...). They are by far the best band playing "neue deutsche Härte" (new German hardness). And they are so much fun to watch on stage. Until the start of this year, to me their best song was "Seemann". But now I"m really going for "Zeit". Both of the official video's are very nice (but take into account that Seemann is a relatively old video and Zeit is from last year). And live: go for Engel, Ich to dir Weh or Mein Teil. There are some websites (Bückstabü and Educated Marine f.e.) which has their video's with subtitles. And you'll need them, because their lyrics are really deep.

Yes the keyboardist usually walks almost throughout the entire show, Germany do love their hiking and walking lmao. No this time it’s not actually a real wound on his arms. They’re all coated in fire repellent jell but the fake blood actually comes from the song they performed beforehand which is „mein Teil“ also a very interesting song that I highly recommend you react to and also read up on the story behind it because it is based on a true event that happened here in Germany. However, Til did purposely injure himself for some of the shows. In the very early days of the band they had an act where they’d smash a lighttube (not sure if that’s the correct term) on his back and once they came to America they didn’t know that the glass there is thicker so it took a lot more force and attempts to break it on his back and when it shattered parts also flew and struck one of the guitarists shoulders and they were both covered in blood. More of an accident. In the song „Rammlied“ Til actually has a light in his mouth and used to puncture his cheek to put the wiring through however due to puntiring it multiple times and also using the hole for alcohol related party tricks it ended up always getting infected so they stopped puncturing the cheek. For his most recent single „Zunge“ he’s actually gotten a doctor to sow his mouth shut for the music video. Do it’s not that far off to question whether that’s a real wound or not because you never know when it comes to Rammstein 😂 Even if someone could I think it’s pretty impossible to get a ticket for them in America. They sold out Madison Square Garden in 20 minutes.

The concert was produced by Swedish producer Jonas Åkerlund. He was also hired by Madonna, Coldplay, Rihanna or Taylor Swift. But there is also the criticism of the video that he used too many cuts and too many CGI effects (like the flashes on the keyboard player).

I'm bothered by the unnecessary CGI effects like Flake's lightning or Till's reptilian tongue that he has to put in almost every video. the german language is difficult, german gets really complicated when rammstein writes lyrics. in German, "Du hast(you have)" and "Du hasst(you hate)" sound the same. The meaning comes from the words that follow. (translated by Google)
