Thank you, I've been trying to find out what this song was about for some time now. In my mind, I have decided it is about my longing to be close to God.

Avi wrote the melody and Kevin wrote the chorus. Remember these 2 were roommates for years.

Going almost back to the beginning for this one. A really well-received original written by Avi & Kevin, and an incredibly beautiful song. On stage they would perform this with just a single microphone sitting just above the stage floor and the audience would be so silent you could hear a pin drop.

They sing this live with just one mike!!! AMAZING!! It sounds great with Matt also!! 😉

Thank you! This is one of my favorites😊 This and Amazing Grace are going to be played when my ashes are scattered. My sons have been told to do this off my favorite mountain in the Smoky Mtns in east Tennessee.

This was the first time really listening to this song and I broke down especially when you spoke after the song ended. I'm a person battling depression but when I hear things like this it gives me hope for the future. I need GOD in my life not just for me but for my wife and kids also. this song was written by Alvi and Kevin it speaks of a very close relationship {with GOD and with esch other} dont do anything but enjoy it SMILE !!

This is an emotional song for sure, but the key to me is their outstanding use of harmonies and even a little dissonance to help convey those emotions. Good reaction.
