I've been using the twist tie gallon baggies, put meat in them, then into freezer Ziploc. That way I can reuse the Ziploc baggie and only throw the twist tie baggie away
I use the butter wrappers between burgers before i freeze them

When cleaning your instant pot, use a small foam paint brush around the edges, it works wonderful.🎉😊 Kathy Utah

Pennies all will add up to many dollars saved 😊
I re-use my baggies all the time.
When pouring something like cheese in another container, I do it over a plate. If something falls I either eat it or put it in the bag.

Yep, thought along those lines while watching. I place salt-dispensers into a cup or small bowl for refilling, so any spilt salt is caught, put in the dispenser and the surroundings stay clean!
A penny saved is a penny earned. Love your videos.

Glad to see someone else forget food in the oven beside me.😂😂
I always store my onions in the fridge. I agree. Also leave the stem side intact as long as possible that also cuts back. I will cut it down the middle through both ends ( tip and stem). The I cut off the tip end and peel off the peels and save for stock in a freezer bag. but I leave the stem connected and slice or dice up to it. Also toss the ends in the freezer bag for stock. I add my celery and carrot peels to the same bag as well and then when I have chicken bones toss in a pot with water or a crock pot. 😊 Free stock.

Do you transfer your honey into a glass bottle?
I have learned if you boil the honey it will destroy any healthy benefits. I just use hot tap water, it may take longer but it keeps its benefits. Thanks for the tips.

@@imaamericangirl1406 I realize that. But yeah agree water way to hot for the honey, if it as raw. Pastorized dont make no differance its ruined anyways.
I reuse gallon and quart size plastic zip bags. Unless It’s super greasy. I’ve used the same gallon bag for almost a year now when cutting up my own salad fixings. 😊

I use either napkins or coffee filters to cover bowls in microwave.
I've been using those cheap fold over sandwich baggies since you mentioned them about a year ago & they work great for all sorts of things. Lots more tips in this vid! Thanks! 🥰Blessings from South Australia💕🐨

Thank you Tawra! Great tips and tricks!
I put meat in smaller portions in the fold top bags, then inside a freezer bag. I toss the fold top bag and can save the expensive freezer bag.

I reuse parchment paper until it falls apart 😂.

💕💗💕🙏🙏🙏 I use our ceiling fan, when slicing or dicing, onions. No tears! Have a blessed day!!!💕💗💕

They make a Montreal chicken seasoning. It's amazing.
Nt onion bottoms directly in soil just a bit to cover and u will have more green onions from cooking or red or vidalia onions.
doesnt matter if onions are cold or not still makes me cry even frozen ones
Do u like ur insta pot. I bought 9ne but im kind of scared to use it cause I've heard stories from back in the day about them exploding..

It's ok. I only use it for a few things.
A friend showed me how to dry those zip lock bags; get a hanger, clip a couple of clothes pins and attach them to the bottom rung of the hanger. Hang your hanger someplace to clip your washed baggies upside down onto your hanger. Try to dry them off so they aren’t dripping when you hang them.
I don't know why your Instant Pot gets so dirty. Mine gets very little spillage around the edge. Are you filling above the fill line?

I just figured out why your “store onions 🧅 in the fridge so no tears” 😭 works for you - you’re using white onions, not yellow! It doesn’t work for yellow onions. ☹️ They are so much stronger. We tried getting white onions, but they don’t have as much flavor as yellow onions. Hubby likes the stronger yellow onions, so HE can cut them up! 😜

@@LivingOnADime Wow! Really! We’ve always stored our onions in the refrigerator and yellow onions really do a number on me. 😭 Maybe I am just more sensitive? I wonder if I actually popped them in the freezer for a while, right before I know I’m going to cut some up, if that would help me?

Try the apple corer to cut onions for perfect cuts every time. Then cut the wedges with a knife If you want smaller pieces.

I cool my cookies on a 100% cotton flour sack type "dish towel" I never use for dishes. Just wash in hot water after use. The cookies turn out wonderful. The cotton absorbs the steam n cookies, bread rolls whatever turn out amazing. No one touches my cookie towels.
