Era of Reclamation Ep.12: Refugees, healing and museums

Marking #RefugeeWeek2022, join Bonnie Greer, British poet and performer Patience Agbabi and the Bishop of Dover, the Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin in conversation with former Director Hartwig Fischer as they discuss resilience and the human ability to start again.
This year's Refugee Week explores the theme of healing, and the panel will be considering how museums can be places of healing for refugees and asylum seekers.
This event will include a special performance of Agbabi's poem The Refugee's Tale, which was written as part of the Refugee Tales project in 2015. Agbabi will talk about the collaborative process of writing the piece and the continued legacy of the project.
The Rt Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin will speak about her experience being on the frontline of receiving refugees at Dover and what we can learn about holding onto hope when faced with the unimaginable.
