Not suitable for microwave..You can use OTG Oven or Electric Oven or any oven that's supported in baking a cake.

@Zehra Khan did you use granulated sugar or powdered. I thought she was using regular sugar but reading the recipe I see it's 1/3 cup of powdered or icing sugar. Maybe that's why it won't fluff?

@@SalhiyyaJassam-fg1sw I was actually skeptical at first to see a sponge cake recipe with the yolk getting mixed with the egg whites right off the bat but it does work. Though in my experience the cake deflates immediately, probably because the egg whites which should've helped stabilize it was beaten along with the yolk but still a really quick way to prep snack if you want something home baked for the family.

Es delicioso facil y rapido. Modifique la receta usando lo q tenía a la mano a media noche.. 😁 use los 4 huesos, 80g azúcar morena, 80g harina de avena, y le agregue coco rayado, copos de avena y nuez arriba para decoración. Es más q perfecta. Gracias 🙂

You make it look so easy!! Lol. I am not much of a baker as I am a cook, but seeing your video gives me the courage to try. I have almost everything, but vanilla extract & all purpose flour. Ok just fyi to people who only have access to AP flour...you CANNOT makes this with AP flour. It says "cake flour" which is how a lot of people get around the "only three ingredients" thing, cause that has the ratio'd amount of baking flour/soda. without that in your cake it will not naturally rise. This flour is more expensive so I always add the baking powder myself...just an fyi cause I'd want someone to tell me, too! (You should also add a tiny pinch of salt. If they meant self rising flour it already has the salt in it, some people use the terms interchangably. You can definitely make this though, I believe in you!)

I found making the basic sponge cake really difficult especially seeing all sorts of different methods and ingredients. Some even cream the butter, some use a warm water bath, some desperate egg york and whites. This video gives me a big relief and I can't wait to try it after I made a big mess baking another cake yesterday. ❤
