Why does my cake shrink from the sides when it cools?

I haven’t seen the video yet, but you might be greasing your pan either too much or that may just be the issue. Preferably, just line your pan with parchment paper and when it’s fresh out of the oven, let it cool upside down so the chance of shrinking or cratering of any area is minimized. Hope this helps you! Oh and btw, do not grease your parchment paper! It’s the same as over greasing your pan.

I've seen other recipes where the eggs are beaten without separating the yolks and whites. How is this different to beating them separately?

There is 2 video in your channel about vanilla sponge cake. In 2 videos you showed different amount of flour , corn starch. Are they the same? Or there is a reason for the measurements?

Not just me dear I'm an 83-year-old black woman and I have a senior group there's I don't know 65 of us and we all went to make the cake at home so that we could sell them at a bake sale We all ended up baking all night long because not one turned out and we're seniors who bake all the time We have recipes in even fashion magazine You know that we've created. So don't tell me it came out for you and not 60 some baking women or maybe you just think black women can't bake I just figure you're all family and friends people that put this on there so we'll give you a pass
