I LOVE that you are doing these weekly meal preps again. They give me great ideas. We eat very similar. I am gluten free so I have been using palmini noodles for several years now and they are by far my favorite substitution for noodles (I also love the brown rice/millet ramen YUM). I giggled a little when you made the stuffed chicken. 3 nights ago I made it as well. While cleaning out my fridge I found "chip dip" in there that was brought over for a little dinner we party we had here and we never used it. It was perfect because it already had all the "flavors" needed in it. Worked out perfect and the container was removed from my fridge....LOL

Yes your the first person I've seen that makes deviled eggs like me. U done the dressing for my chicken salad the same but add dill pickles in a thick chop and boiled eggs chopped. And sprinkle garlic& onion power and salt 1 teaspoon each. And at summertime I put chopped lettuce.

Instead of sugar, try deglazing your veggies or meat with white wine. The alcohol will cook out and add just enough sugar to cut the acid the tomatoes while adding a delicious flavor profile!

I never thought I'd be the mom with a picky eater but child Number 8 is out to prove the meaning of the phrase. He eats maybe 4 or 5 things, most are not healthy. It's chicken nuggets, pizza rolls or pizza, hamburgers, pancakes, or waffles only with chocolate chips, raw carrots and cucumbers and of course any type of sugary junk food. I already do the eat what ypu get but soooo many times he just goes hungry. I hate it.

It’s possible he isn’t just “picky.” There is an eating disorder called “Sensory Eating Disorder.” My son has this disorder. It is NOT just being picky. He would literally choose to starve to death rather than eat a carrot (or any vegetable or many other foods). Like many other real medical, yet mental, issues that kids have, people will try to dismiss the problem as stubbornness or defiance. Nothing sucks more than eventually finding out your child has a mental disorder and you’ve been treating him as “defiant” all along. It still breaks my heart.

My child has this. One thing I do is only provide the things he likes healthy. So he loves peanut butter wraps. I give him whole wheat probiotic wraps with natural peanut butter. If your son likes chicken nuggets just make your own with healthy ingredients. Make homemade Sourdough pizzas ect. Gradually transition him and it will work!

Hide cooked vegetables blended in the tomato sauce for the pizza! Finely chop spinach in the burgers! Make your own chicken nuggets and blend shredded and drained zuchinni in the nuggets! They also say serve the things they like but in different shapes to get them used to variety like cut the carrots in medallions if u always serve them as sticks

@Ozarkmountainoutback1 awesome! My son is also "picky" so I was doing the stuff I mentioned for him. I have been doing what I saw others do, the "thank you bites" and always putting a tiny piece of anything we are all eating (the stuff he doesn't like) alongside the stuff he will like so he gets used to seeing it on his plate. Oh, also hiding cooked/pureed carrots and sweet potato in the mac n cheese and putting bone broth in the rice and sometimes mashed/pureed cauliflower in the mashed potatoes. Thankfully he likes smoothies so I always hide veg like zucchini in there ! Good luck with ur picky one, fingers crossed he grows out of it 😄
