We say “dippy eggs” in my home but we are also from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I’m thinking it might only be a PA thing. You’re making me miss home. We currently live in Texas and definitely miss home. When we order dippy eggs out and about we say over easy because no one has a clue. In PA out and about (like an Eat n Park) we’d say dippy.

I wrap mine in wax paper then into freezer bags. Same with English muffin one. Those look huge and delicious . The way you do the eggs in the oven. I do that and cut and use on the sandwiches. Easy peasy.

I'm British and we refer to dippy eggs as boiled eggs in an egg cup.Usually served with toast fingers.Cut a slice of toast into four or five fingers and dip them into a soft boiled egg.I loved these as a child and still make them for breakfast or lunch now.

I love watching your videos! You are so inspiring! As you are making your various meals to put in the freezer, I would appreciate it if you would mention how you reheat them once they come out of the freezer - oven, microwave, air fryer, etc. Thank you so much for being you & for sharing your life with us! ❤

In my family, we have no word for "dippy eggs" because we don't like our eggs that way. If we fry our eggs, we like them over hard, where the yolk is like a boiled egg.

Maybe I missed it in the video or maybe you answered it in another comment, but how do you reheat these items after you pull them from the freezer so that they taste the best? I’m assuming you either heat them in the oven or microwave but I was just wondering which works best. Thank you!

You got it! It’s huli huli chicken. Huli huli translated in Hawaiian is “turning around” so it is like rotisserie in that it’s cooked by twirling on a rod over fire.

So we have always called them “poke eggs”. My daughter named them that when she was about 3. It was her way to decipher between scrambled and fried. 😊
