The sour cream hamburger casserole is really similar to a pioneer woman recipe! I think the only difference was the layering technique and she uses cottage cheese rather than cream cheese. It’s a family favorite around here, my 12 year old daughter even requested it as her bday dinner!!!

Something we really like doing with sloppy joes, and even chili (we like ours with beans when it’s not on a hotdog), is put the mixture in the bottom of a glass pan and then putting corn bread mixture on top and baking it that way. So good!

I make this casserole but with the following differences. Mix cream cheese/sour cream/green onion with the noodles. Put in bottom of casserole and meat mixture on top then cheese.

Looks yummy! Made a similar tortellini one similar last week with green peas. Didnt have a jar of sauce, so I heated some half and half, melted in some cream cheese and added the parmesan & lots of pepper. Such a versatile & tasty meal😊

I have to say I'm impressed with this recipes and how easy they are to make. I only have a family of 3 (me and a set of 21 years old twin) but those 2 eat like 4, lol, so I'll probably be making them and a few more from other videos that caught my attention. Also want to try some freezer meals too so that we spend less time in the kitchen, never skip any meals and more doing many other things that we like. This type of food is not common in Puerto Rico, but me and my children like to try different things and this certainly helps a lot. I'm also saving the video for reference. ;-) Thanks for sharing, God bless you and your family.

For better flavor use some of the starchy water from your pasta to rinse your jar and add to dish, it blends all the flavors beautifully. This is a Rachel Ray tip I’ve used religiously and yes I can taste a difference.

I do a pasta similar to your beef sour cream... but I use ricotta sour cream and egg and mix all ingredients into a big bowl then bake with cheese on top like a loose lasagna
