No cheap jokes? The whole dog impression was cheap, and unoriginal. And it didn't fit the narrative. "Is that the level of challenge you want?" then goes on to admit it's a level he couldn't handle. This sounds desperate. I recommend some Doug Stanhope or Bill Burr.

@@happinesstan I disagree with your analysis of the dog joke. It was all his, even thought the theme has been done, so has the theme of relational comedy with "small, weak and useless men", which usually make me cringe and puke at the same time. My final analysis is "hahaha", hence it stands the test. Bill Burr is my personal all time comedian. I recognize myself and my closest friends in him. He doesn't reach the creative level of Dylan Moran, but I don't need it necessarily to laugh. Stanhope has some witty twists, but seems tormented by anxiety and lack of self knowledge. None of them are a good choice for a date. That was a requirement in my comment. I'd go to a Bill Burr show for the double ticket price, but alone.

His voice is perfect, he can project… he sounds Shakespearean trained in theatre… like he studied and worked hard… he’s hilarious, he can improvise, a funny creative poet, great delivery. Bravo… he’s brilliant, warm and can hold the audience completely in the palm of his hand. A force of nature, yet so relaxed. Wow. I’d read a good biography on him. What a master. Gratitude!💕🌷🙏🏼☕️

You can tell he keeps dumping them on there because they keep giving him $20mil each time for his NEW EDGY TAKE on steaming broccoli or whatever the fuck he talks about. Most comedians suck, always have, and while Chapelle used to be good, now he's a hack who's shat four terrible specials out in three years and dumped them direct-to-Netflix because no reasonable person would pay for them. But now everyone pretends to like one because it caused controversy. Yeah, it was shit and nothing was funny and Dave Chapelle looks like there are various parts of him beginning to peel, but Buzzfeed seemed pretty pissed about his take on the socioeconomic situation of the Republic Citrus Farmers or summat, so I guess I can pretend to like that special I didn't watch. The best Irish comedians like Dylan Moran (probably the best of all) have a keen sense of the surreal rather than the cruel in their observations on everyday life Love that while he speaks fast like most Irish people- he has slowed down his delivery for global audiences and his concepts are so plentiul he rarely swears except for appropriate emphasis in a live environment. Erudite Genius and too talented to indulge in bullying of anyone eg women, fat people/other groups like some UK and US and Australian comics do ( except for Billy Connolly a Scotsman of Irish parents who is also brilliantly surreal and Never cruel, bullying , racist or misogynistic) God bless them both.

One of the best things about being in a committed relationship is that you have someone to call you out on your bullshit and bad habits. Especially for us men. This is one reason married guys in their 40s and 50s do better than most of their single counterparts if they go back on the dating market. We dress better, we eat better, we have better manners and, most importantly, we know women better.

God bless you! You are the first stand up comedian that I ever discovered and you are still the classiest! And I wish you a happy, good and safe life! (That's the wish that covers every thing as far as I can understand). Thank you for entertaining us - the modern day slaves, those around whom the Starbucks was originally built! 🎋
