Thank you John, For the offer we really do appreciate it. But we are doing fine. Finally brought her mom back from the hospital. It’s just a matter of making sure she’s comfortable with her illness. We’ll look you up. Maybe we can meet for coffee

The parents suffered a lot of physical pain…and the children watched it and love them through all this…all I can do is be there for Razel when she needs me..there’s no amount of words I can say to ease her pain..I can just feel it and pray for her and her family…thank you Terry..

I’m glad you enjoyed it Stephen. I think I’ll do it more often. Maybe once every 6months in stead of every year. I remembered during the pandemic I was looking for anything and everything about Dumaguete and its surroundings. You have a great day guy and be safe.

Thanks for the tour. I'm still searching for a Filipina. Seems to be quite challenging...May visit that area as a solo traveler next month as I have 2 weeks' vacation I have to use or lose.

Just be yourself and all will be fine…i never went out with the intention of meeting someone…i just allow whatever happens, happens. I remember just talking and meeting girls at the mall, airport, restaurants, or just walking around…I’d probably talk to a tree if it didn’t leaf lol…I know bad joke…you be safe Eric…good luck on your journey.

Hmmm , I’ve been in towns that’s much worse and it’s not in the Philippines. Been here 5yrs and for me it’s very relaxing, inexpensive, people are very nice and the weather is kind of like key west. You have a great day Dos.

Good that you are visiting Cebu first. Lots of things to do but you can get lost there…Comparing Cebu to Dumaguete is like comparing Miami to small town USA. …be safe when you go to Cebu…

Excellent informative tour Sam. You hit on all the main locations at both the waterfront location and downtown. Helpful for newcomers and recent arrivals like me. One suggestion - let Razel walk in public just once without the humiliation of wearing that University of Georgia T-shirt. An alternative suggestion would be a University of Tennessee T-shirt.

😂 I don’t know of any stores outside Knoxville that sells the Tennessee t shirt hahah. I know they are inexpensive I think they are giving it away for free but no takers 😂..thanks for watching the video…see you back in Dumaguete soon

Merry Christmas! Hard to get a good long walk in dumaguete, city is quite small. Wish the boulevard was longer, I like walking along the ocean. But at least it’s pretty safe, no scooters on the sidewalk unlike Cebu

Merry Christmas to you too Tony, I jog a lot there at dusk or dawn. Then will have breakfast or dinner..it depends on the time of day..have you been there since they finished peoples park..it’s pretty big…and it’s safe too..

Nice tour as I've been to Dumaguete several times as my Girlfriend lives in Calindagan where her Dad is on the Barangay council. The only thing is you kept mispronouncing Perdices street (Purr-D-c's) but we expats seem to mispronounce about everything anyway as my girlfriend is so patient especially as she teaches me Bisaya. There is just so much to see; especially if you have a Filipina show you around. Daro area is also great, and North Point and even Bacong, Dauin and San Miguel although expats seem to gravitate to Valencia. In June I hope to make it my permanent home.

Re the unfinished building. The rumor was that the foundation began settling because water began seeping in and it will cost a lot of money to correct it. Investors apparently began pulling out until the project just didnt have enough money to continue.

That was the rumor that I heard. I just didn’t want to say it on my vlog since I have no actual first hand knowledge of the situation. If that’s the case I do feel bad for the original investors. I actually thought about investing there 10yrs ago when I first visited the place. I’m glad I didn’t.
