I absolutely love that you always consider the price point of everything you're recommending! As someone with sensitive skin that leans on the more dry side, companies always seem to pump up the price on products targeted for sensitive skin and it can be so hard finding quality within budget. So thanks for always keeping budget and prices in mind :)

When I had oily skin, years ago, I assumed that I wouldn’t be able to use a facial oil. But then I heard that it can balance oily skin types. So I jumped onto the facial oil bandwagon, and haven’t looked back 😀 I love using oils, and I’ve tried do many. I love adding it to my moisturizer too. Have a great week!!

Good morning Rob! Excellent video as facial oils can be tough to work out. Although I have dry skin, I tend toward TO rosehip seed oil and some of the oils that are lighter and for oiler skin. I already watched your rose hip oil video but because that's what I'm using now, I'm going to rewatch. You're the best and thank you.

I used Sunday Riley Juno for like 2 years when I put some thought to it and realized it didn’t do anything much for my skin. Then tried squalene and felt like it gave me like inner bumps. I was about to give up on oils UNTIL! I found Stratia fortify and OmG that is real moisture. I usually mix it with the liquid gold and has worked wonders. So I am happy to see it in this list! ❤️

Hi Rob as I have very dry skin it responds really well to oils and most oils seem to be fine for me. I am a bit more wary of blended oils as they often contain fragrance (which my rosacea and eczema prone skin does not tolerate), but there are some good fragrance free oils around. I can't really say I have a favourite as I use a variety of different ones tbh. I'm currently using cacay oil and it works fine for me. I've used rosehip before and it also works despite apparently being better for oily skin. Squalane, jojoba, evening primrose, starflower, argan, camellia, marula etc all work on my skin. I like trying different ones, but wouldn't buy the sea buckthorn again as it's too messy - orange and stains everything. Best wishes.

I looooove facial oils, I credit an incredibly high quality aloe Vera gel and rosehip oil for healing my face when I decided to stop treating my acne with harsh actives. However last summer I started adding them in more steps of my routine; instead of just patting some rosehip oil over my moisturiser at night, I’d mix them in my moisturiser (squalene or jojoba in the mornings, Marula and rosehip at night) and/or pat them on top too and I found it regulated my oil production and sped up the healing rate of my pimples by a lot. Nowadays I’m using jojoba and rosehip. I can’t use tanamu oil because I’m horribly allergic to it but my mum has dry skin and she loves it.

I mix tamanu and azulene for the benefits and color. Their green and blue color really help to naturally color correct my redness. The chromium oxide green they put in color correcting skincare irritates my rosacea, but this coctail works like a dream on my sensitive skin.

I used jojoba oil and tamanu oil with my FAB Ultra Repair Cream for my dry skin for a month but always felt dissatisfied because they felt pretty thick and sat on my skin. Currently using camellia seed oil and I love it. Very lightweight, lots of benefits, and quickly absorbs. Honestly, an underrated oil that I don't see people talking about. I read somewhere that the trick to using facial oils is to apply on damp skin so it doesn't just sit on your skin; I don't know how true this is but I feel like it works.

Every other night i cleanse w/ cetiphil then use cosrx moisture up pads ,( 1%bha pha) then cosrx 6 peptide serum then the ordinary matrixal peptide serum ( 10 bucks!) My skin is glowing already. Alternative nights i use a strong retinol a Paulas choice 1%. And of course, SUNSCREEN. Boj spf 50 . Loving your channel! 😊. As usual your glowing with the look of youth. Once you hit 40 youll see just how much nicer your skin looks compared to peers. You can tell from group pics. Sometimes i look " etheral" im comparison lol 🤣🤣. I avoided facial oils for the longest time because "I have oily skin, why would I want *more* oil?" 🤦 I finally tried a squalane oil and a jojoba oil, and was mortified at how greasy it felt, even when I applied the tiniest amount. That swore me off of oils for good. But it's been a while, so maybe this video is the universe's way of telling me to give oils another go, but to find one that actually works with my skin type.

I like Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse for neck massage with my Foreo. For my face on top of the moisturizer I love the The Body Shop CBD Oil, I like how it is not sticky. I know that people don't like TBS for different reasons but I love the smell and texture of their so much :) don't come for me 😀

@@MadAboutSkin I also use tretinoin (Retacynl, made by Galderma, the same company that makes Differin), which is formulated with Squalane. It is supper comfortable on the skin, now I know why! This and Rosehip oil is the perfect combo for me at night. I might try TO Rosehip oil next as Trilogy is a bit pricey!

@@MadAboutSkin yes the smell of tamanu oil is a bit rough but it doesn’t linger. But it does work for hyperpigmentation. A lot of people have slept on this oil.

Love Holland & Barrett Bakuchiol oil My mum had the best skin I’ve seen No age spots No marks...All she was using was a face cream with sweet almond oil extract so I purchased some cold pressed sweet almond oil from Zen Maitri (UK based) Sweet almonds are high in vitamin A and I like my nuts...It was super super cheap

I’ve tried some facial oils, but found each & every one of ‘em left me with some type of bump that wasn’t acne & would take forever to go away. So the conclusion for me is to stay far away from oils!
