HYPERPIGMENTATION - How To Use Azelaic Acid and Tranexamic Acid for Dark Spots

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Sharing how to use AZELAIC ACID and TRANEXAMIC ACID in your skincare routine to tackle hyperpigmentation. The ultimate hyperpigmentation hack
Hey guys and welcome back to Mad About Skin where today I want to share with you how I faded my skin discolouration and tackled hyperpigmentation using azelaic acid and tranexamic acid together in the same routine.
Hyperpigmentation, dark spots and discolouration can be come of the most difficult things to tackle with our skincare routine products and they can really damage our skin confidence. In this video I want to share with you how I faded my skin discolouration, using a combination of azealic acid and tranexamic acid to achieve the best results.
AZEALIC ACID - one of the unsung heroes of the skincare world which helps to calm and soothe the skin and prevent inflammation, Inflammation is one of the biggest triggers of hyperpigmentation so by reducing the amount you have in the skin reduces the risk of discolouration. Azelaic acid also acts to suppress the formation of pigment and increases cell turnover to remove excess pigment quicker.
TRANEXAMIC ACID - this accidental discovery is an amazing ingredient if you have dark spots and discolouration as it prevents pigment from pooling which evens out the skin tone. Tranexamic Acid also surpasses pigment production which doubles down on the benefits of azealic acid.
By using tranexamic and azelaic acid together you will see the best and quickest results for your own hyperpigmentation, dark spots and skin discolouration and I wanted to share this hack with you today.
I would love to know what your thoughts are on this hypepigmentaiton dupe and whether you have used them together yourself so please leave me a comment below.
If you enjoyed this video then please give it a thumbs up and a like to let me know.

Love both these ingredients. My go to products are from Cos De Baha, Tranexamic 5% serum and Azelaic 10% which are more easily accessible here. However at the moment I am enjoying new products from the Uk, Ft Exaglow serum and G&G aPad and of course MAS serum! I use all three twice a day without any problems. I notice my hyperpigmentation the most when driving home in the afternoon sun after a long day at work., but the other day I caught sight of my self in the mirror and thought “hey girl your skin is looking good!” I don’t have a lot of hyperpigmentation but my skin just looks clearer and more even toned. I’m happy with this combo ❤️

Hi Rob. I just received your Mad About Skin serum and hsve a question if you don't mind. I was a little surprised by the smell. It smells of dentis office: very strong waft of spirit/alcohol. Is this normal? Secondly, it dried out my skin so bad, even with a heavy duty moisturiser. Something I really didn't expect but then alcohol is drying I suppose. I love your chanel and your knowledge, so was really taken aback. Thanks.

I have been so impressed with tranexamic acid for my melasma. I get it in my custom formula from Curology, which has 5% tranexamic acid, 4% niacinamide, and a tiny concentration of tretinoin at 0.009%. Since that’s less than half the usual beginner’s concentration of tretinoin, so I credit a lot of the benefits I’m seeing to the tranexamic acid 💜💜💜
