I so appreciate the manners you have taught your girls. Respect for the instructor. Listen and apply. No talking back and attitude. No complaining. She is open to learn. Good student. Very good lesson. Both horse and rider learning.

This trainer is a gem of a teacher. I can see how much Kate is improving with her. She is becoming a very capable and “quiet” rider. Dressage is the base for every discipline whether people realise it or not. I can see her doing well in equestrian competition, especially with this trainer who really knows how to communicate with Kate and allows Kate to also learn without any stress, no shouting just positive reinforcement for the two of them. But, even if she didn’t want to continue with dressage competition, what she is learning here is equestrianism and her jumping, flatwork and trail riding will improve as a result of learning how to communicate with her horses without force (no pulling on the bit, no kicking or bumping feet on the horse‘s sides) and get them to work correctly. Well done Kate. And well done Duke. And well done to this amazing trainer xxxx❤❤❤❤

Thanks. Dressage gets a bad reputation for being boring, but it is making such a difference with foundational riding skills for the girls and for the horses. I really think Dressage is going to make a big difference for Duke especially. I can’t wait to see how he progresses over the winter with these lessons.

Amazing lesson. I know how hard/frustrating it can be when your horses keep calling for one another, they get stiff , don’t want to listen etc. one phrase I heard which is so true” if you can get their mind you get to their feet” so so true. Well done Kate 😊

Kate is an excellent rider. She takes what she learns and applys. I love this coach. She is teaching her how to control a rulely horse. Duke is learning it is not acceptable to carry on. Kate is learning how to control his behavior. You were so lucky to get this coach. I hope when she is taking lessons from Brandon she applys what she is learning from this coach. I have heard Brandons lessons, it is nothing like this coach. You can tell the experience. Kate you did an incredible job tonight with Duke. You look so beautiful riding I admire you and your parents so much. They have done the right thing for you girls. I am so proud. I can't wait to see both girls in dressage competition 😊

You have raised such wonderful and well mannered young ladies! I love how they listen and apply what is asked! The dressage lessons and Kate with Duke have been so great! I love seeing them both still act like kids, but when they are in lessons and with you guys as parents they are still very respectful of each other and the adults! Its so good to see that balance still!

What a insightful and informative trainer! Very clear and educated instructions! Moving the skill level up for both horse and rider. Keep going! So much potential and a "Well done" from her is earned!

I love this coach. Duke is not an easy horse and may never get past his severe separation anxiety. He is a challenge for sure in so many ways. Kate is doing the best she can with what she has. Well done.

If Kate chooses she could make a career with horses. She has all the qualities, listens, rides very well and is a hard worker. Also she has parents that support her.

That is her plan. She wants to work in the industry and is doing everything she can to soak up as much as she can.

Is there any chance you can get a Bluetooth microphone for Kate to wear for her dressage lessons so we can hear the instructor better?? I think they even gave some decent cheap ones on Temu if others are too much $. It would be awesome to hear the instructor better. Ty

I feel for Kate. Herdbound behavior is very frustrating and can be so hard to get rid of. My mare was very herdbound when I got her, then she’d gotten over it and was fine but with our recent move she’s regressed into it again and it really sucks

I’m sorry to hear that. I hope it doesn’t take you too long to get her back to where you had her. It is definitely frustrating, and I feel bad seeing them stressed. With Duke, he doesn’t mind going somewhere on his own, but as soon as we bring one of our other horses, he works himself into such a state of anxiety. I’m glad Kate is learning how to work him through it so hopefully, he doesn’t have to always be like that when he is off property. He loves riding with her and I would love to see them at Dressage shows together and him not getting so worked up.
