When I was on Warfarin I couldn't do Goji Berry because they thin the blood, which can interfere with drugs like Warfarin (a blood thinner). Since then, I was switched to Eloquis where diet interferes much less. So now I can have my Goji Berries again! 🙂

thanks for the recipe doc, looks delish. the only thing I'd add is be careful with the fiber and oxalate consumption coming off an extended fast. This recipe would be fine for breaking a 16 or 18 hr fast, but I'm weary of putting insoluble fiber into your system first thing after a 24hr or multi-day fast. Hemp seeds, goji berries and blackberries are all extremely high in fiber, and berries, almonds, cinnamon and ginger all contain a high amount of oxalates.

Buy local whenever possible. Have you read the ingredients label of most Olive Oils? They all contain soybean oil - the very thing we seek to avoid. There is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil out of California, which is pure, homegrown cold pressed olive oil. But be careful because that same brand also has a cheaper product of a Global Blend of foreign olive oils, which are mostly rancid junk.
